Driving home the other day I saw a billboard.
"Not All Pills Are Created Equal."
It got me thinking, we are all trying to save money but are they created equal?
Please do not take this as me bashing online stores but are they selling the same product?
Do their drugs come directly from the manufacturer?
Where, or who are their sources?
Can they guarantee, their product is pure?
It caused me to look into our own home delivery offered here at VCA.
I am proud to say, we can back our products up.
Do recalls happen? Of course, but it is because of the quality control the manufacturers preform and most important the speed that we are informed of such recalls.
Vetsource (VCA Home Delivery) may not be cheaper on some things, but they know where their product comes from.
They also run specials and have discounts that we can not offer here at the hospital.

Good morning my beautiful readers .....
Summer is in full swing - beaches, parks and outings in nature.
Shoes go flying, you bury your feet in the warm sand..... Florida life at its finest.
Unfortunately, hidden in that sand could be worms or parasites that you can contract from all those cute pups living their best beach life.
OK, so I am raining on your parade for a moment, sorry.
Think of me like that mom that tells you to wear clean underwear before you get in the car....you never know.
The good news..monthly preventions can stop the spread of most of those little nasty worms.
It's all fun and games till a hookworm ends up burrowing into your heel.
Don't even get me started on mosquitos - that will be for another time. (hint: give a monthly prevention)

Summer starts June 20th, 2025
Being from up North, I understood the beginning of Summer, here in Florida it is always Summer to me. However, the calendar is saying June 20th is the start....so who am I to fight it.
Mother Nature wakes up and gives us a warm hug on June 1st with the beginning of HURRICANE SEASON.
Time to start preparing , stocking supplies and watching the weather.
