🇺🇸 CLOSED FOR LABOR DAY 🇺🇸

But do you know why we celebrate Labor Day?

🔨 The first Labor Day celebration was held in New York City on September 5, 1882, when thousands of workers participated in a parade honoring America’s workforce.

🇺🇸 In 1894, Labor Day officially became a national holiday, observed on the first Monday in September.

💼 The holiday was created to recognize the social and economic contributions of American workers and the role they have played in building our country.

We hope our team, clients, and community enjoy a safe and restful Labor Day weekend!

We’ll see you Tuesday! 🇺🇸🐾

🩺 BEHIND THE SCRUBS: MEET LOGAN! 🐾

Logan has been a Veterinary Technician for 6 years and is currently in college working toward his goal of becoming a veterinarian! 🎓🐶🐱

When he’s not working or studying, his favorite thing to do is spend time with his family. ❤️

💬 Logan’s favorite quote:
“If your enemy knows your next move, then don’t move.” — Unknown

Why it resonates with him:
“Sometimes the best decision isn’t to react immediately. Being patient, thinking things through, and knowing when to wait can be just as important as taking action.”

We loved getting to know a little more about the person behind the scrubs! 🩺🐾 And a special shoutout to Logan for being the one to jump in and participate! 👏

🩺🐾 Bladder Stones: What Pet Parents Should Know

Bladder stones can sometimes develop without obvious warning signs, and pets are pretty good at hiding when something doesn’t feel right.

Some signs to watch for:
• Frequent trips outside or to the litter box
• Straining to urinate
• Urinating only small amounts
• Blood in the urine
• Accidents in the house
• Excessive licking of the urinary area
• Restlessness or discomfort

Bladder stones can vary in size and type, and treatment may range from dietary changes to surgical removal.

The biggest takeaway? Pay attention to changes in your pet’s normal bathroom habits. Even a small change can be their way of telling you something isn’t right. ❤️

🐾 WOULD YOU RATHER? You can only choose ONE:

🐶 A. Be able to talk to your pet for the rest of their life

🏝️ B. Never have to work another day in your life, and still get paid

A or B?! 👇😂

Be careful… your pet might have some THOUGHTS. 👀
