Tega Hills Farm’s tool shed and garden/farm supply sale happens tomorrow, Saturday, November 4, from 8 am to noon. Come find us at 1780 Zoar Road, Fort Mill. Lots of electrical and plumbing supplies and tools. Odds and ends, including baskets, garden totes, lawn equipment, power tools, hand tools, mini fridge, hand trucks, Dutch grow buckets, crop wire, plant support supplies and equipment.

Hello everyone! Good news! As a result of an experiment involving planting lettuce in the same containers as the tomatoes, I was able to harvest fresh lettuce yesterday! Stop by the farm stand and grab some while it’s here!

Every time I go to pick cucumbers, I find this little guy hanging out in the same spot! He can stay as long as he likes!
I have an obligation tomorrow and need to close the farm stand an hour earlier then normal. So Friday June 30, I will be open from 12:00 to 3:00.

Hello everyone! My name is Daniel McKinnon.
I started working at tega Hills Farm about two months ago. When I found out the farm was closing, I asked Mindy if she would let me keep one of the greenhouses in operation. I put a lot of work into this greenhouse while I have been working here. I hated to see all the preparation and plants go to waste! Mindy was generous enough to let me continue to run this greenhouse myself. I will be running the farmstand Wednesday Thursday and Friday from 12:00 to 4:00. I have cucumbers, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, green beans, broccoli, herbs, trumpet squash, squash blossoms, and even eggs. Thank you to everyone who has already stopped by! I appreciate all your support!

Tega Hills Farm still has cucumbers, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, and squash blooms this summer. Stop by the farmstand Wednesday through Friday (1 to 4 pm) and buy your salad fixings and fresh veggies from Daniel.

Although I am closing the lettuce and microgreens part of the farm at the end of May, our friend Daniel will continue to grow tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, beans, broccolini and SQUASH BLOOMS through the summer! Tega Hills Farm will continue to have stand hours on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from noon until 5 p.m. Check out Facebook each week to find out what tasty produce will be available!

13 weeks of fresh, local produce! Each week's box will contain 7 to 8 items, including at least 3 heads of lettuce, 2 bags of greens, and some choice of carrots, fennel, herbs, or microgreens. We will add tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and peppers by the end of the Spring season.
