Remain calm. That was the theme for today when some horses (not my horses) released themselves from the pasture where I board my horses. I was the only person at the barn. I absolutely love and am grateful for the ability to ground myself, and have the horses respond in kind. Panic and urgency don't tend to end well when prey animals are running around. Get their attention, stay calm, and give them something to be curious about like food... Then lead them where you want them. Leaders never panic. ✨
