💔 URGENT: HOME OR FOSTER NEEDED BY JUNE 12 💔

This handsome 2-year-old Silver Lab is running out of time.

He has been with his family since he was 8 weeks old and they love him deeply, but due to circumstances beyond their control, they can no longer provide the active lifestyle he needs. After months of searching for a solution, they have made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him to a local shelter on June 12 if a home or foster cannot be found.

He is healthy, intact, fully trained through HNK9, off-leash reliable, great with babies, children of all ages, and dog-friendly. He loves swimming, hiking, fetch, and being part of an active family. He needs a fenced yard and people who can give him the exercise and attention he deserves.He has a lot of potential for dog sports, including scent work.

The family is willing to cover food and medical expenses for a foster. HNK9 will provide FREE lifetime training support to his adopter.

With shelters already overcrowded, we are desperately trying to keep this amazing dog out of the shelter system.

There are some dogs that come into your life for a reason… and this boy deserves a family that can truly give him the world. 💔

HNK9 is helping one of our clients find the perfect forever home for their beautiful Silver Labrador Retriever who just turned 2 years old in March.

This is NOT a dog being rehomed because he’s “bad,” aggressive, unstable, or untrained. Quite the opposite.

This boy is incredibly loving, social, happy, confident, and FULL of life. He absolutely loves other dogs, has been raised around children including a newborn and infant, and genuinely loves being part of a family. He has spent the last 7 months training with HNK9 where we helped build him into the stable, confident dog he is today.

He has basic obedience completely locked in and has recently started advanced off-leash obedience… and honestly, he is doing AMAZING with it.

The reason this family is making this heartbreaking decision is because they truly love him enough to do what’s best for HIM.

He is a very active, intelligent young lab who needs more than love alone. He needs time. Exercise. Structure. Adventure. A yard to run in. A person or family that can truly fulfill him physically and mentally.

This boy has SO much potential in dog sports and working activities such as:
• Scent work
• Dock diving
• Fast CAT
• Advanced obedience work

He would absolutely thrive with an active person or family who wants a dog that can be involved in everyday life and adventures.

This young couple is devastated over this decision, but instead of keeping him in a situation where his needs cannot fully be met, they are making the most selfless choice possible — giving him the opportunity to have the life he deserves.

And whoever adopts him will NEVER be alone in the process.

We are going to be extremely selective about where he goes because he deserves nothing less than an amazing life.
