Beautiful bull from the 2025 October season. He had some unique white coloring on his muzzle…it’s not too common but cool to see. He was over 50” and made MASTC.

I had to grab a few pictures of this one before loading him into the trailer for shipping. This bear was right around the 400lb mark, with a “pumpkin” head on him. The combination of a bear that size, a beautiful coat, and a custom built habitat/pedestal…sure made for a pretty mount. (The entire thing is resting on 2x4s to prevent scratches, they’re not part of the finished product)

Shop update: I’m about 3/4 done mounting all the 2025 whitetails. They’ll all be done at once, probabaly toward the end of June. I’ll let everyone know.

I want to say thank you again to all my customers…this year I had more pieces to do than ever and I can count on one hand the amount of calls or texts I’ve got from people asking if their’s is done yet. I appreciate everyone being patient and allowing me to focus on the job. There are so many moving pieces that need to come together for a quick turn around at the quality I want. It wouldn’t be possible if I was always on my phone.

This takes the award for the largest bull I’ve ever done…too bad he didn’t come from Maine!

I’ve mounted a few Maine bulls for this customer in the past. He lives in Alabama, but took a trip to Alaska and caught up with this 70” monster on the last day of the week long hunt. I’m extremely appreciative that he shipped this bull all the way from Alaska to northern Maine to have me do it.

It’s currently on its way, being shipped to the hunter’s home…I’ll be anxious to see it hung up on the wall. I love seeing where the finished products end up.

Every year, without fail, the biggest bears of the year start rolling into the shop once the hound season opens up. This one was no exception, tipping the scales over 500lbs. He’ll be off to Tennessee in a week.

If you spend enough time in the moose woods, there’s a good chance you’ve experienced this, and know exactly whats going on here. Having seen this myself in the wild more times than I can count, it’s probabaly one of my favorite poses for a bull.

The heart pounding excitement of watching a bull come in to a call is pretty hard to beat. That’s exactly what I tried to replicate with this piece.

A problem I run into from time to time is getting pictures of completed bear mounts before they leave the shop. Since the beginning, I’ve always preferred outdoor photos. That being said… all my bear mounts are complete in the winter, and I have to say, a bear mount in a snowy landscape looks very unnatural and out of place. While I can still get outdoor photos if the mount is still here by the time the snow melts, a lot of them are picked up and gone earlier.

So for this 500lb+ bear, I decided to play with the idea of an indoor type photo. His only imperfection was a golf ball chunk of hair missing on his side. I could have fixed it, but I prefer to leave the animal just as it was when the hunter crossed paths with it that day….unless the customer requests otherwise.

Next year I’ll have a legit setup to do the indoor photos for bears when needed.

I’ve been extremely busy in the shop since the end of deer season. As of right now, all the 2025 bears and moose are complete and ready to go. We’ll be loading up In a couple weeks getting ready to ship alot of them. This year, it’s going to take two separate trips across the country to get them delivered…with some being delivered as far as Wyoming, Texas, Florida and everywhere in between.

Here’s a beautiful bull taken opening morning of the September hunt in 2025. This one gets to stay local. Congrats to the hunter on this awesome bull and thanks again for choosing me to bring it back to life.

Just like that, another season is history. A lot of great looking bucks came into the shop this fall. The easy winters that we’ve been experiencing here in Aroostook since 2020 is really starting to show. Thanks to everyone who dropped off to me this season, I have alot of work ahead of me and i’m anxious to start putting everything together.

Here’s a great looking buck taken in 2024, he went 200lbs with an awesome set of antlers to match.

I’m officially full and won’t be accepting any more deer for the rest of the season, with no exceptions. I could have never planned for the amount of bucks that were taken this year…and better yet, the quality of them has been the best I’ve seen in a while. I’m extremely thankful for everyone that chose me to do your animal this season. To keep the quality high and my promise of a turn around time under a year, I’ve hit max capacity.
(If we’ve already talked, I’m still taking in your deer)
