We are thrilled to welcome you to the official page of Desert Haven Animal Rescue and Sanctuary! Nestled in the heart of the desert in rural West Texas, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide lifelong care for animals in need.
At Desert Haven, we believe every animal deserves a second chance. Our off-grid sanctuary is home to a diverse group of rescue animals, including pigs, horses, dogs, and cats, who have found their safe haven with us. With no nearby humane society, we are committed to being a vital lifeline for stray and abandoned animals in our community.
What We Do:
Rescue: Actively saving animals from dire situations and providing immediate medical care and shelter.
Rehabilitation: Helping animals heal, both physically and emotionally, preparing them for adoption or permanent sanctuary.
Sanctuary: Offering a forever home for animals that are not adoptable due to age, health, or behavioral issues.
Education: Promoting animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and spaying/neutering to reduce the stray population.
