Our condolences to the family and follow officers.

We are truly saddened to hear of the passing of retired Police Officer Douglas Bell of the Caribou Police Department after a hard fought battle with ALS.
Doug served the citizens of Caribou with honor, pride and sense of duty that was second to none. His consistent application of the law to all those that he encountered is well regarded in the law enforcement community. Doug retired from full-time law enforcement in 2025 but had plans to continue his passion on a part-time basis until ALS reared its ugly head.
Doug was a caring person and helped hundreds of people on their worst days in his distinguished 37 year career.
Our thoughts are with Doug’s family, his colleagues and friends at the Caribou Police Dept. May you all find peace as you mourn the loss of one of your own.

I would like to clarify some things that people may be wondering about. I am still offering all the services that I have been since I’ve been open, I am currently the only one here. There’s no one affiliated with Paws and Play Kennels. If you wish to continue to receive your services with us I am more than happy to keep you in my schedule! You don’t have to go anywhere!
