Greetings everyone! We have the big reveal from last weeks post: Why are there pencils in this here Plexidor? They are for training purposes! Think of these as training wheels for your pup, it is a way to ease them into using their new pet door. You will start by having both panels opened up by placing the pencils as pictured, then once they get used to that you can remove 1 of the pencils, and eventually you can remove both. It is our tried and true method for getting pups used to the new dog door set up, some catch on more quickly than others- so patience is key. Happy Wednesday everyone! We have a simple post for today, it's a question: Why are these pencils placed in this Plexidor? Is it something bizarre, or a completely normal reason- who knows! Happy World Chocolate Day! Chocolate and dog doors are pretty dissimilar topics- so we don't have a good pun for you, but we hope you get to enjoy some great chocolate if you can/want to! For dog doors- we have a new install to share- a Plexidor put in glass. There is a small twist- as this one has a raise in it, which is where we put the dog door higher in the glass for dogs with taller legs. If you look at the dog door there is a white spacer beneath it, which is how we accomplish the height difference. This is a good solution for taller dogs, but what if you have shorter dogs too?
