Celtic Dreams Bullmastiffs and Dogs Just a girl and her dogs. I have owned loved, shown and bred tough, stubborn Bullmastiffs since 2000.

I've loved and trained hard headed Cattle Dogs to be great family members and use their drive to work in a home with no cattle.

I've been slacking at posting training sessions. It's a lot of work and I'm not an influencer, I have a full time job lol.

This last weekend at the Greeley Kennel Club dog show, Aero earned Reserve Dog both days entered. He showed well despite the miserable heat mid day Saturday.

Eric Jon Salas made an appearance to do some ringside mentoring. He caught me in the ring and said my stide was too short. So I will be practicing this until our next show at the Cheyenne Kennel Club at the end of the month

Working to lengthen my stride. First 2 passes are my normal, then I try to lengthen it the next 4. This will be a challenge. And practice makes it easier.

Then some stacking and down and back and showing off that he will stand without me close. I will stop further back tomorrow so we can see all of him. So much work to do and my current focus is my stride.

Aero and I had a lot of fun at the Buckhorn Valley Kennel Club dog show. Great people, and beautiful dogs.

I tried my hand at stewarding for Rally and am even more excited to start Tallulah in that sport.

Aero had fun and I'm learning so much about this boy every time we step into the ring. On Saturday he earned Owner Handled Group 3.

Sunday I was approached by handler Todd Thornton who gave me a compliment and some feedback. This is what the show world needs more of!

All my training, watching my practice and ring videos is paying off. Thank you Eric Jon Salas for teaching me how to get here.

I couldn't do it all and not feel stressed without the help and support from my son Dillon and all my dog show friends.

My breed of choice is the Bullmastiff. If you're thinking about getting this breed PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, learn the standard. Know what you're looking for in this dog. If you're just after a companion, the standard should still apply. This is the goal for appearance, temperament, and what the breed is.
