As temperatures drop this week, our pups would love a cozy break from the cold! ❄️ Did you know we have a foster program where you can come pick a dog to hang out with — even if it’s just for a night or a weekend?

Fostering doesn’t have to be a long-term commitment or a special occasion. A few hours or a few days in a warm home can make a huge difference. Plus, it helps us learn how each dog behaves in a home environment so we can better match them with an adoptive family.

Our kennels are covered to protect from wind and rain, but they’re still outdoors — and nothing beats a comfy couch and human companionship! If you’ve been thinking about fostering, now is the perfect time.

Stop by, message us, or give us a call to take a pup home for a cold weather getaway!

Ted is still here waiting on a home!!!!

He’s a super smart guy that already knows basic commands, is crate trained, very loving and affectionate, but the one thing likely keeping him here longer than he should be: he would really prefer a home with no other dogs or cats.

He has done well meeting older children but since he likes to play wrestle on occasion, we would not recommend smaller kiddos in the home. He’a still a fantastic guy and we know there is a home out there for him somewhere!

A great big THANK YOU to everyone who came out for PAWS FOR PREVENTION!
The dogs and cats loved getting out for walks, and it was a big help for the staff (it makes deep cleaning much easier). Everyone had a good time, two dogs were adopted, and I think we will have some new volunteers joining us!
