A positive note for the day for us was that we had a chance to drop off 12 blankets, 20 pet toys, a bag of litter, 3 large boxes of Milkbone/Bisket treats and a 50 pound bag of Sensitive diet Pro Plan food at the Macon County Animal Shelter this week!
We try to donate several times a year to help out all the animals that are in need there.
Over the years, We have adopted and fostered more than twenty wonderful pets and have loved each and everyone of them.
So please remember that there are so many furry babies in these shelters that are in need of the love and care that we give our own furry family members.
When you have room for an additional furry family member in your home, always consider adopting a pet from a shelter near you.
Adoption not your thing but you would like to help. That is great, there are so many other ways to help out simply by donating to your local shelters. You can donate your time to walk a pet, bring in clean/gently used or new items to help off set the costs of their care, take in unopened/not expired foods and treats or simply a $ donation. Every little bit helps. Before donating: Please check the shelter’s website near you for the guidelines on types of donations and the drop off times.

Good morning everyone! It is going to be another humid and hot weekend. Please do not forget about your furry family members!!!!
A good friend of mine’s puppy had a heatstroke and was only outside for less than 10 minutes. My prayers are going out to her and her puppy

****Always keep available a bowl of fresh clean water and a large shaded area for your pet to get out of the sun no matter their ages at all times.

You keep hydrated too!!! It is the world’s best medicine.

Shout out to our furry babies with all their new wonderful families. We really appreciate the pictures and updates from our extended puppy families. We have met so many great people along the way. We plan to have our next litter in the fall if all goes well. I hope everyone is healthy and enjoys family time this summer!!!☺️
