A load paying more isn’t automatically the better load.
Before accepting freight, consider:
📍 Pickup and delivery locations
⛽ Fuel costs
🛣️ Total miles
🚛 Deadhead miles
⏰ Pickup/delivery appointments
🏁 Where the next load could come from
A $2,000 load that puts you in a difficult market with a long deadhead could be less profitable than a lower-paying load that positions you perfectly for your next run.
The goal isn’t just to book a load. The goal is to build a profitable route.
That’s where strategic dispatching can make a difference.
