I'm going into my THIRD YEAR OF DOGGY NAILS! I really can't believe the overwhelming demand yall keep on this. So let me tell you how i got into dog nails. For those who haven't been with my these 2 years!

July 4th, 2023 I went to drop my son off at grandma's only to find her unresponsive on her living room floor. Despite my best attempts and heavy medical intervention from first responders, she passed away about an hour after I found her in the hospital with my ex husband, myself and Sammy by her side. The plane tickets for Sammy and I to get to the funeral were going to be 1k each. So I sat down and told myself, there's no way in hell my baby boy isn't going to his grandmother's funeral and started brainstorming things I've done that I could do for quick cash. I had remembered seeing a post for someone in Terrell doing this that was a vet tech for side money and figured, why not? What do i have to lose?

This was NOT supposed to be a long term thing. I reached out on my Chestnut meadows community page and in just a day, I was flooded with requests for appts. After I exhausted my neighborhood, I went to we are forney and everything forney pages and posted what I was raising money for and, God bless this town, I was OVERWHELMED with support. In 3 days, I raised the money I needed.

However, now I was facing the fact my (now ex) husband was having an affair and needed money to support Sammy and I. It was a long legal battle, and it costed me close to 20k. Doing dog nails helped me pay for those legal costs. We settled a year after the fact on the same exact agreement we had when we first separated 🤦‍♀️ i told myself I was going to be done after I finished paying all my legal costs....

What i didn't expect, was that I would fall in love with all your pets. That you would fall in love with how I handle your pets and the overwhelming amount of tags I get EVERY TIME SOMEONE ASKS FOR A DOG NAIL LADY!!!!! Holy s**t yall, you're seriously the best clients ever!

All this to say, THANK YOU for 2 years of continued support. 2 years of allowing and trusting me in your homes and 2 years of loving your fur babies. I really didn't expect this to get a big as it did, or to see it's continued growth nearly every day. I sure as hell didn't expect it to bring in as much as it has or even be just as successful as my other business. This was just meant to be a temporary thing, but I'm here to say, I'm not going ANY WHERE in the foreseeable future. I'm truly blessed for all your continued support and referrals. I even have clients coming to my home from as far as CARROLLTON! BECAUSE OF YALL! I cannot express my gratitude enough for yall and thats the gods honest truth❤️❤️❤️

So one of my clients downsized and moved too an apt and went back into work. Unfortunately her sweet bichonpoo India is NOT handling it well and had become very depressed and howls all day at loneliness. Her owner is hoping to find her a new home with someone who is home more than she is so she doesn't deteriorate more. She's exhausted all means to try to get her to adjust to her being away but nothing has worked. Please no judgement!!!!

It has been a while since I have given a kong-date.

Kongs cancerous masses have grown and last night they have begun bleeding consistently. Hes falling now while standing still and having a harder time than ever getting up. You also now have to scream at him to get him to hear you. Hes struggling getting to the bathroom and having several accidents on him.

These factors being played between me and the rescue, we have decided that its in his best interest to help him cross the rainbow bridge.

His last day will be wednesday. He will be surrounded with love and family. If anyone would like to say goodbye, because I know yall were invested, you can let me know!

Starting a new "game" for my clients.
NAME THAT BREED!
We all know, unfortunately, your perfect little angels sometimes sing the song of their people whilst getting their mani/pedi. So I thought it would be fun to record some of my more...... vocally dramatic clients. Then have everyone guess what BREED they are! (This is all done with owners consent of course and yall know I don't hurt the babies!!!!)

Voting goes for 1 day then I'll post a picture of the little drama king or queen for everyone to see for themselves!

Hint: this is a small breed. If you have one you will probably guess off the bat. This breed is usually pretty dramatic for their nails..... but this girl is a little bit more ✨️extra✨️ in the vocal side of things.

So I found this sweet little guy off in the woods more than 5 miles away from any houses. He's super sweet and probably about 2 or 3 years old. He's not chipped. He's very affectionate and loving. Ill get him vaccinated but would anyone be interested in adopting this sweet little guy? He's maybe 30 to 35lbs. He didn't belong to any of the nearest houses. They said they get dumped dogs in the area often
