Our facility will be closed for memorial day! We will return all phone calls, emails and texts the next day!

Our daycare will also be fully booked for the Tuesday after memorial day, as we prepare for all the pets going home!

☀️ Golden doodle day! ☀️

Goldendoodles are actually a relatively new type of dog. Sometimes called a Groodle, the first modern Goldendoodle was bred in 1989 by Wally Conron of the Royal Guide Dog Association of Australia. Conron combined the Golden Retriever’s sunny disposition with the Poodle’s intelligence and propensity for low shedding.

💙Meet Covey, the Münsterlander! 💙

Their name translates to "someone/thing from Münster, Germany!"
They are gun dogs and have a variety of uses (Pointing, retrieving and tracking!) These dogs are known for their gentle, loving personalities.

We did indeed celebrate national hug your pet day! We simply got a big caught-up in hugging all the dogs we possibly could.

🐾 Fellow pups! 🐾

Sammi here! I like to help out our manager here from time to time. She wanted me to tell you guys (Because I'm so darn cute) to remind your parents to check your boarding dates!

We all know how much we love to come stay at Lake Forest while our parents go on their own vacations. (We stay up late and play hide-and-go-bark and eat lots of treats. Don't tell our parents!) So, it's super important that your parents remember to check their dates! Make sure that you have a spot booked in one of our kennels so that you can come party- I MEAN.. stay the night with us!

Lexy says we have an automatic system that messages owners to confirm their dates if they have notifications and reminders turned on.. Whatever that means- maybe it's something to do with snacks?

She told me that if your pet parents don't get a message- to make sure to call and confirm your dates are right! OR- if you aren't boooked in yet and want to come- to book your reservation right away before we fill up!

Thank you! Now, if you'll excuse me- I have toys to go fetch!
