This is a public announcement that our hospital, Gentle Care Animal Hospital PC located in Forest VA is in no way associated with Christopher Rispoli who has been making insensitive posts on Facebook regarding the unfortunate shooting in Utah. There are several Gentle Care Animal Hospitals throughout the USA. It is regrettable that anyone would make an insensitive post regarding recent events, but rest assured that Gentle Care in Forest VA has not done this.

Gentle Care will be closed tomorrow. We will resume our normal business hours Friday, April 9th.

We are pleased to announce that we have returned to our normal hours of operation, M-F 7:30 -6 and Sat 8-12. While we are able to return to normal hours, we feel that the safest way to ensure everyone's safety during COVID-19 is to continue to do curbside admittance until further notice. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during this challenging time. We continue to monitor COVID-19 updates and hope to return to normal soon. We will do so as we feel it is safe.

As COVID-19 continues to present new challenges for us all, we have decided here at Gentle Care Animal Hospital to temporarily adjust our hours of operation. For the next few weeks (this is subject to change based on COVID-19 updates/Govenor's edicts) we will be operating with the following schedule.

Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm
Saturday 8:30 am - 12 pm

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we thank you for your understanding and patience.

During the Covid-19 situation, Gentle Care Animal Hospital plans to remain open as permitted by the Govenor's Executive Order since we are listed as an essential business. In an effort to comply with recommended precautions, we are enacting new protocols during this time to ensure the safety of our staff and clients. For the foreseeable future, we are admitting and discharging pets via curbside service. Curbside service also applies to clients picking up medications or prescription foods, for those who cannot use our online pharmacy. We are asking clients to call us when they arrive in the parking lot and one of our team members will come out to your car to get your pet. We are also asking for people to pay over the phone as much as possible during this time.

Found Golden Retriever near Ramblewood Rd. Forest, VA. No ID. No microchip. Wearing a red shock collar (looks like collar for electric fence). Please contact Gentle Care Animal Hospital at 434-534-9894 if you recognize.
