It was finally nice enough out yesterday that I was able to take Roxy out to Pine Point Park, and she did absolutely fabulous! ✨

We hauled out by ourselves, rode out alone, and eventually met up with some friends. By the time we were done, we were 6+ miles from the trailer, so they were kind enough to trailer us back rather than have us ride all the way back in the dark. 🤣

We got in a good 2.5-hour ride and almost 10 miles! Roxy went through water, crossed bridges, took the lead, brought up the back of the group, and handled everything in between like a champ. She absolutely thrived out there!💜

A little progress, a lot of potential, and a reminder of why I do what I do! 💜

I was contacted about this sweet little filly after a couple of attempts to get rides on her that hadn’t gone quite as planned. I was able to come out and put a training ride on her, and we ended up having a very successful and encouraging first ride together! She is such a smart girl.

We were able to confidently ask for all three gaits, work on our stops and backing up, and most importantly, get her thinking with us instead of reacting. And that led to our ride being just that… crickets 🦗.

Every horse is different, and sometimes they just need a different approach, a little clarity, and the opportunity to build confidence in a situation they may not fully understand yet. I’m excited to see this little girl continue to learn and grow!

This is exactly why I love working with horses and helping them find a better understanding of their jobs and what the expectations are!

Pop Tart is getting back into the swing of things being a using horse!

We took a nice little trailer ride to a facility just north of us, where he got to ride around in their outdoor arena and practice being a good patient citizen standing tied at the trailer. He did very well!

For his first outing in I don’t even know how long, he handled himself so well, and I couldn’t be happier with how he did. It’s always exciting and rewarding getting these horses out, letting them experience new things, and watching their confidence grow!

These Pivos need to stop being so shaky 😂

I’m seriously so grateful for the privileges I’ve been given in life and for the horses I get to see, work with, and learn from. There’s always something new to learn from every horse and every person you meet, and I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to keep learning and growing alongside all the incredible horses and humans in my life! 💕

Tiny bit obsessed is right! Roxy is so cool we’ve been working on level one skill’s and touching on some level two stuff! She’d really excel in almost discipline with her future people!

I can’t believe this sweet little mare is still for sale she is so sweet and quite talented! She has gained so much confidence both in the arena and on the trails these past few weeks!

Yolo is a 2 year old AQHA pending mare standing 14.2hh at the withers and almost 15hh at the hip. She has been in training coming up on 60 days and has done very well.

Yolo leads, loads, clips, bathes, ties, and is easy to handle on the ground. She has a very nice walk, trot, and canter and is incredibly easy to get along with both on the ground and under saddle. For a young horse, she has a great attitude and tons of brains.

I think Yolo would make a phenomenal fit for a youth rider with a trainer or experienced adult, as she is still just a baby and will need someone who understands the importance of continuing her education. She has a great foundation, a willing attitude, and the mind to go far!

Yolo is a very nice young mare with a lot of potential, and I’m excited to see what she can become with someone who takes their time and continues to build on the foundation she has started.

Doubleontherocks aka Roxy is an 8-year-old registered Standardbred mare standing 15hh.

Roxy was raised by her breeders and raced until she was 6, then was restarted as a riding horse in 2024. Roxy has lived the track life and has settled into home life very well. She leads, loads, clips, ties, stalls, and lives outside in a mixed herd. She has all the brains you could want in a horse.

This little mare has done a lot, from packing around novice riders in the arena and on the trails to play day patterns, jumping, and even riding side saddle! This mare can take a joke and is very easy to get along with. She has very big, floaty movements and has started showing a lot of potential in the dressage realm!

Roxy could really go any direction her new owners want to take her. I would not recommend her for a complete beginner purely because of her big gaits, but she would do great with a teen or young adult.

Driftin Royal Bell aka Kitty is a 3-year-old APHA bay tobiano mare standing 14.3hh at the withers and 15.1hh at the hip.

Kitty is an exceptional performance prospect, and I could see her excelling in most disciplines. She is pretty, athletic, and has the power to boot! Kitty leads, loads, clips, ties, and has been in training for nearly 60 days. She is doing well and can W/T/C, with a nice stop and backup. She is also starting to collect up underneath herself well.

I could see this mare doing very well as a barrel horse or WSCA horse. She has lots of power and is eager to please, but she is still young, so I would not consider her a kids' horse. I’m sure a confident teen with the right guidance could do very well with her.

I have taken Kitty out alone and in small groups on trails, as well as ridden her ba****ck and through the fields. In addition to her arena riding, she handles new environments and experiences well and takes everything in stride.
