Spring and summer bring sunshine and fun - but also foxtails, bringing trouble for your pets. Foxtails are these harmless-looking, grassy seed heads that can cause serious problems when they get lodged in your pet's ears, nose, eyes, paws, or even under the skin.
‼️Watch for these signs‼️
- Excessive licking/limping of paws
- Head shaking or pawing at the ears
- Sneezing more than usual
- Squinting
- Swelling or bumps under the skin

To help prevent issues:
- Avoid tall, dry grass on walks
- Check your pet after outdoor play
- Keep fur trimmed between toes and around ears
