Some great pups looking for their perfect people!

Good dogs. Overlooked. ❤️

These 7 amazing dogs have been waiting far too long for someone to see what we see every day.

Jules, McGonagall, Sailor, Swaye, CiCi, Butters, and Sandy have all been with us for more than 3 months. While they may not be the first dogs to run up and demand attention, they each have something special to offer the person willing to give them a chance.

Many of them are shy or timid when meeting new people. Shelter life can be overwhelming, and some dogs need a little extra time before their true personalities shine. But once they trust you, you’ll discover loyal companions, gentle hearts, and lifelong best friends.

A few have unique stories:
🐾 CiCi is deaf, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. She may not hear you, but she’ll still listen with her heart.

🐾 McGonagall has completed heartworm treatment and her best days are ahead.

🐾 Swaye was born with a deformity in his front right leg, but it certainly doesn’t slow him down.

To help these wonderful dogs find the homes they deserve, their adoption fees have been reduced to just $45.

Please share this post. The perfect family for one of these dogs may be just one share away.

Visit us at www.humanecamden.org or stop by and meet them in person.

Should Vets Be Allowed to Report Suspected Pet Abuse Without Consent?

Veterinarians may be the first people to notice signs of animal abuse, neglect, fear, or unsafe living conditions. Allowing them to report serious concerns can help protect pets who cannot speak for themselves, while still requiring good faith, evidence, confidentiality, and local legal guidelines.

Do you agree that vets should be allowed to
speak up for animals? Comment and share.
