We all make mistakes. I made a big one. Failure to TRUELY know a species before introducing it to a tank.
Convict cichlid "NEVER" UNLESS YOU WANT DEAD FISH AND HUNDREDS OF BABIES THAT ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO CATCH.

So I set up a tank and added a live piece of driftwood (I usually sun dry/oven bake all pieces before they enter a tank) which is amazing but look at the little fellow found 2 weeks later that was hiding in it. Also top left of picture shows barnicles living in freshwater. Lol. Suppose to be impossible.....lol

Look at the newest addition jet black chiclids. Yellow are six months in age, the orange ones are nine months old and the blues will be arriving in a month or so. These are currently the fish we are breeding. All fish come with a warrant. Unlike buying from pet stores, our fish are healthy and the colors show it. Prices are $5 no matter the size, yet the jet black are not ready for sale we are introducing them to dry food to ensure your success.
