Here a couple mounts out the door recently. Jumbo perch on a stringer ,beautiful largemouth bass caught this last winter and a large Northern Pike speared this season.

I just had an incredible weekend with my wife, Jessica Amber, and the Minnesota Taxidermy Guild, where I achieved a major breakthrough - my first blue ribbon in Minnesota after a few years of perseverance. I also earned a scholarship and three second-place ribbons, which has given me the momentum I needed to push beyond my limits and strive for even greater excellence, including winning Best of Category in Minnesota next year and a blue ribbon at Nationals.

A few mounts I didn’t post from last year. Lots of first for me in 2024. Large drum, black grouper and a stripped bass from San Francisco, piebald/albino deer, and even a channel catfish. I’m always up for a challenge so if you have a fish you want either skin or replica, give me a call. Have a great day.

Deer season is right around the corner. I will be taking Euro Mounts at $225 a piece and they come with a hanger to put on your wall to show off. Shoulder Deer mounts $1250. What a an amazing week at the World Taxidermy Championships. Thanks to all my friends and lovely wife and kids for always inspiring me. Was great to spend time and learn from the best taxidermist in the world.

Two things that hit home for me this week.
1. Never forget where you came from
2. When you stop learning you stop being successful.
