Our Story

Beta's entire life has been surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes. She has taken great joy and satisfaction in training, caring for, healing, and rescuing all breeds of animals. She has rehabilitated dogs, cats, birds, and all manner of farm animals. However, Beta's true passions have always rested in flowing green pastures and dust filled arenas surrounded by Horses.

Beta has spent her entire adult life, and the majority of her youth, at Horse Rescue Foundations and in the pastures of her friends and family. She has gained great skill in the training and care for equine in every stage of life and development. In 2014, one Rescue's Farrier took Beta under his wing and began to teach her all there was about hoof care and its impact on the horses activities of daily living and the overall health of the horse.

While studying to be a Veterinary Technician, Beta and Alec were married in 2015. Shortly after their vows, as they aligned their new families goals, a very simple question was asked of Beta. "Had you the opportunity to care for any animal in the world, what would it be?"

The natural answer was, "A Horse of Course!"
