Black cats are still one of the least likely pets to be adopted in shelters but I find that black cats tend to habe fun personalities, especially Lydia. This girl follows me around and makes me laugh daily. I caught her chasing one of her dog siblings this past week. She’s super smart and I think she would do well with clicker training.

We blinked and it’s already time for the new school year! In preparation for the first day of school tomorrow, the Town will be testing all flashing school zone signs near LISD and AISD campuses today, Aug. 11. 🚸🚨 When in a school zone, please remember to follow the speed limit during posted hours or when the lights are flashing, pay extra attention to your surroundings, and minimize distractions.

Be aware that due to the addition of school buses and other vehicles taking students to school, there will be more traffic on the roads. Please give yourself extra time to get to your destination safely.
