Ashley Urbain, one of our dedicated groomers at Healthy Hounds, is facing a serious medical emergency that will require major surgery and a long recovery ahead.

Ashley has developed a 12-inch, softball-sized hematoma in her abdomen caused by tears in both her abdominal wall and an artery. Because of the size and severity of the hematoma, her body has been unable to heal properly. The pressure has now begun affecting her uterus and bladder and has also caused a hernia on the opposite side of her abdomen.

In the coming weeks, Ashley will undergo surgery to remove the hematoma and repair the damage. Unfortunately, this means she will be unable to work for the foreseeable future while she recovers. As someone who has always worked hard to support her family, this sudden medical crisis has placed an overwhelming emotional and financial burden on them.

Between mounting medical bills, daily living expenses, and lost income during recovery, Ashley and her family need all the support they can get right now. We are asking for prayers, shares, and any donations possible to help ease the financial stress so Ashley can focus fully on healing.

Ashley has always cared deeply for the pets and people around her, and now it’s our turn to rally around her during this incredibly difficult time.
