If it hurts your face to step outside…
If you wouldn’t sit out there for hours…
Then it’s too cold for them too.

Our pets don’t get a choice.
They can’t ask to come in.
They rely on us to protect them. 💔

It is crucial to prioritize the safety of pets by bringing them indoors. Pets are highly susceptible to frostbite and hypothermia, especially when temperatures drop to 32°F or below. Cold weather can become dangerous far faster than we realize.

While the holidays are not the ideal time to adopt a dog, if you are going to get one, there are important things to do. Please remember Routine and Decompression Time are Essential. 🐺

'Dogs don’t instinctively know how to fit into your home—they need guidance, predictability, and time. The first few weeks should focus on a slow, consistent routine: same feeding times, same potty breaks, and short walks to reduce over stimulation. Avoid overwhelming your dog with guests or nonstop attention. 😳

The “3-3-3 rule” is a great guideline: 3 Days to decompress, 3 Weeks to start understanding routines, and 3 Months to truly settle in. Respecting that adjustment curve builds confidence and trust—and helps prevent fear-based behaviors or anxiety down the road.' 🎄
