Well Hello my Darlings 🐝

You know Now Nanny is always up to all sorts of things over here . Getting prepared for a Bull Terrier litter coming my way from Odessa Texas soon .

But in the mean time I’m always whelping something . Horse, cow , chicken , cat or dog . You never truly know what’s going to surprise me !!

So on tonight’s agenda we have some Silkie baby chic’s in the incubator about to make there grand appearance into the world . I will try and stay up and record it so we can share it with you all .

Hello my Darlings 🐝 I wish all you have a safe show weekend no matter where you are traveling from or to. Please be safe !!!
Enjoy the show and have fun with your dog . And if you just happen to win a ribbon or two, that is just Icing on the cake . 🧁

To all the Jr’s it’s ok to be a little nervous.
You have studied hard . So get in there and have some fun with your dog and show the judge that special bond you too have . Good luck have fun . You will always have some homework to do for the next show . Just remember every time you learn something new .And get better and better. Good Morning from the Whelp Box
🐝 Hello My Darlings 🐝

I hope you all have had a Spectacular Summer !! And now that school has started fall will be here before you know it . Along with those Fall breedings

Nanny has had an interesting summer . A few whelps on the horizon . Some gardening adventures. And a few flocks where raised . And 3 Mini loin head bunnies are in residence . Now it’s back to business. I have relocated for the ones that don’t know . After 21 years in San Antonio my kids wanted me to move to East Texas with them . So I did back in February.
Still have all my clients from all around Texas . I have noticed my Frenchie breeders have slowed down a bit from breeding.
So my  lovelies same rules apply. If you need Nanny reach out to me when you breed so i can get you on the calendar. Availablilty first come first serve . No more than 2 whelps at any given time . For my existing customers
If you are more than 5 hours away i will meet you half way.
Here are Some of my summer projects along with the oversea dog Shows for you to peek at . Hope you all had a great summer .

Hello my Darlings !! Hope you all have been enjoying the weather . Spring is in the Air. Time for planting, growing, and breeding . As always Nanny has been up to all sorts of things . From pups to baby chicks 🐤 to planting the garden.
Yes I have a bunch of baby chicks to keep me busy until my next litter shows up . These little beauties are only a few days old . And yes Nanny has a chicken palace out back . Lol, I raise all sorts of things . It’s that Ranch Life .
On the next Episode of Nanny’s Whelp box . We will give you a tour of the chicken 🐓 palace. They are some spoiled birds .

Hello my Darlings! An update on the New Years kids:

These 4 little queens are doing fabulous. 🎀
They just turned 3 weeks, are up on their feet walking and climbing, teeth are coming in, personalities are forming and we got puppy breath. Nanny has been busy as a bee 🐝 caring and nurturing these little nuggets. To say I’m pleased with their progress is an understatement. 🥰 We have officially started the weaning process today and they took to it like a bunch of pros. So stay tuned… I’m about to turn up the heat, role my sleeves up and get down and dirty.

Hello my Darlings! 💕 I hope the Holidays have been good to you. As always, Nanny is busy as a bee. This little group of French fries 🍟 had to make their grand entrance on New Years morning. Ringing in 2025 with a big bang 💥

Big shout out to my favorite Veterinary Clinic: Deason’s Animal Hospital 🐶🏥 Dr Sean and his vet tech Sarah were definitely on their A Game bringing 4 beautiful queens into the world. Their care and attention to detail is instrumental in laying the foundation for what I do as a whelper. I drive that hour just to use the best in the field and it pays off. Wishing all my peeps out at Deason’s a Happy and blessed New Year. 🙏

Good Morning from the Whelp Box

Hello my Darlings !!!! Nanny is always busy as a 🐝 over here . Doing what I love Best . Raising happy healthy kids. Right now we are in my favorite stage what I call build a bear lol. Now if I can just get them to cooperate for a pic or 2. These beautiful kids go home in a few days . Babies have just turned 2 weeks a few days ago.
After they leave… Nanny will close for a few days for ABKC Nationals 2024 . Hope you see you all there . Travel safe

Wishing you all and Very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving. As you can see Nanny will be busy with babies and not a Turkey lol. And trying to get my sleep between feedings . The other part of Team Texas will be eating smoked turkey and going to the deer blinds . Good luck on catching that buck Steph and Steven .

Good Afternoon from the Whelp Box

Hello my Lovely’s , I hope I find you all well . As usual Nanny has been a busy 🐝. This is always my busiest time of the year .All my fall breedings are dropping . And I had an extra visitor come to me on an emergency. I was out of town when I got the call . So I drove 7 hrs to get home and crank the incubator’s up . Coming from Zapata Texas they made the drive . A little Frenchie litter plus a singleton from another litter . After a few days with me they are doing good .
I want to give a Big Big shout out to Belton Vet Clinic up north . At my request last night I asked the techs if they would make sure to get the litter to latch on and nurse before they make the 2 hr and 47 minute ride to me . Not only did they do that they made sure the babies got a full feeding in . They came happy and healthy. A great way to start off . Not only is she a beautiful show dog but the daughter of a ABKC National Best in Show winner . Her first litter and she is doing spectacular with her litter of seven .
I love what I do …raising babies and seeing the excitement on their faces when the breeder picks them up is priceless. My goal is to build happy healthy pups looking like Bear Cubs . A labor of love and I love every minute of it .
The icing on the cake for me is when I have a mom that is an over producer. This right here is what I call liquid gold. This girl is definitely an over producer and I love it . Only a breeder can understand this , These syringes are game changers. I’m not even 24 hours in from c section and this is what I pulled off her after she fed her babies . Colostrum saves lives , builds immune systems. Not all moms produce and when that happens . Houston we have a problem. So many things can go wrong in those first 72 hrs . That’s why I call this liquid gold . I have saved lives from other litters in the past by having this on hand in the freezer . And when I have extra I take it out to Deason’s vet clinic so they can help save cleft pups as well.
Well that’s all I have going on for now . As usual team no sleep is at it again . Back to the whelp box I go .

Welcome to The Whelp Box!

My name is Callie. I’d have to say I have been thoroughly enjoying retirement. After serving in the United States Armed Forces for over 20 years & the Postal Service for over 10, my life has been consumed by dogs and my grandchildren. Our family has always been actively involved with dog sports and the art of breeding purebred dogs. With this passion, I have decided to assist others as well.

“Nanny McPhee” was originally a running household inside joke that just stuck over the years. It’s now transformed into something I enjoy doing; whelping and raising puppies. I take a lot of pride in caring for both mom and puppies. I’ve whelped a variety of breeds of all sizes including but not limited to German Shepherds, Siberian Huskies, English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, American Bulldogs, American Bullies and so on. I have many years of experience with many breeds and have a great relationship with both my veterinarian and animal reproduction specialist. My main focus is ensuring that your litter receives only the best care during the first critical weeks of their development & mom as she explores the journey of motherhood.
