Sooo...welcome to the ranch Aubrey and James Dean. We were NOT expecting to add two more pups to the mix as we're SUPER full and they seem just as confused as we are. 🫤
We've never had this happen but you may recall we picked these cuties up Tuesday to get them to our vet? We sponsored their spay/neuter surgeries after they were adopted from the Copperas Cove shelter. Well, on Wednesday we tried to contact the owner to drop them back off after their surgeries and we were ghosted. 👻😐
I'm not sure if some tragedy befell them, or there was confusion, or if they just realized that two puppies were too much for them but whatever the issue is, it's been 72 hours with no contact from them. We texted, we called. Nothing. So these two are now fully vetted and available for adoption through Happy Tails Ranch Rescue. They'd love a forever home! 🏡
We think the pair are about 5 months old, they're very sweet, happy and playful. They'll do best separated since James hogs attention and food. Aubrey is calmer and very cuddly. James is a little needy and more rambunctious. He should have a playmate to romp around with in the yard. They're crate trained and seem to be doing very well with potty training. Our best guess at their breed is wire haired Dachshund/cattle dog mix. They'll be great companions for anyone who can put a little time and training into them to make sure they're perfect canine citizens. 🐶
If you'd like to meet either pup, message us at Happy Tails Ranch Rescue for more information. We'd love to set up a meet n greet! ❤️
