Due to extenuating circumstances, SNIP is closed until further notice. As soon as we know of a date that the clinic can reopen, we will announce it on Facebook. We hope to be open soon!

SNIP will be closed for Christmas from Monday, December 20th through Friday, December 24th. We will be opened for business as usual the week of December 27th. We hope you and your pets have a safe and Merry Christmas!

Due to our surgery schedule, SNIP will not be able to accept feral cats for spay/neuter surgery on Tuesday, December 7th. We apologize for any inconvenience. We should be able to take feral cats on Wednesday, December 8th. Thank you.

Unfortunately, SNIP will not be able to take feral cats on Wednesday the 17th after all. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. If anything changes for next week for Monday the 22nd, we will post an update. Thank you.

Due to our surgery schedule, SNIP is not able to take feral cats on Tuesday the 16th. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. We will accept feral cats on Wednesday the 17th.

For the week of Thanksgiving, we can only take feral cats on Monday the 22nd as we will be closing for Thanksgiving Holiday on Wednesday afternoon.

And...MANY THANKS to everyone trapping feral cats to have them fixed. We appreciate you and all you are doing for our community!

SNIP is Hiring!
SNIP is a nonprofit spay/neuter clinic and we are hiring part-time, hourly veterinarian assistants. If you love animals, then you need to work for us!

JOB TASKS:
Assisting with surgery preparation for cats and dogs, post-surgery care, and kennel and clinic cleaning. Individual must be an effective team player, be able to work standing for extended periods, and lift and carry patients up to 50 pounds.

BENEFITS:
Starting pay is $8.75-$10/hr. depending on experience with potential for raises at end of 90 day trial period and at 6 month evaluations. We also have personal pet discounts for spay/neuter surgery and some pet supplies. Surgery days are Monday-Thursday and you will be scheduled to work 3 days/week with some Friday morning hours each month. You do not have to work on weekends and we are closed for most major Holidays.

SKILLS we are looking for: Ability to work as a team, punctuality, ability to multitask, good work ethic, and computer skills. Must have reliable transportation.

EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 3 years work experience after high school degree or equivalent. Veterinary Assistant/Animal Care/Medical Field experience not required but preferred.

Due to surgery rescheduling, SNIP will not be able to take in any feral cats for surgery on Wednesday, June 8th. We will resume our regular schedule for ferals on Monday through Wednesdays the week of June 14th. We apologize for any inconvenience.

SNIP will be closed to the public the week of May 17-21 for vacation. Staff will be stopping by the clinic to check voicemails and return phone calls during the week but will not be in the clinic full time. So, if you leave a message, your call may not be returned until the following day. We appreciate your patience and we will be open as usual on Monday, May 24th.
