BIG CONGRATULATIONS to my new friend Jacob Conover on his first buck, and did it with a bow on Public land. I got to meet Jacob and his Mom Lisa ( who imo should win the mom of the year award). Jacob with the help of his mom had spent several hours that day trailing this deer until they lost blood. We got there roughly 10 hrs after the shot. And about 150 -200 yards from last blood we found him. We were a long ways back in the woods, so the drag began. Lisa out drug me and Jacob both, about half way I suggested a Christmas gift Idea.....deer cart. Lol. She informed me that there 100% would be one under the tree. It is truly a blessing to meet some of the ppl I get to meet doing this. Happy Hunting!!

ALL TRACKS ARE FREE!!

When I got into tracking deer for ppl I had no ideal that it was such a cut throat and competitive hobby. Well hobby for me business for others. I started tracking for ppl because the closest tracker in my area was over an hour away. And most ppl couldn't afford what some of them "not all" charged. In recent days I have been blocked from the Alabama Blood Trailing Network and removed from the list. So if you need a dog you will have to text or call me. 256 577 7314. I will be serving all of North alabam and Southern TN.
Anything with in 2hrs of Lexington AL. All tracks are FREE. You only pay if you want to donate.

Got to meet a couple of great guys after church Sunday, Ted and Russell Cook. They did exactly what every hunter that even remotely thinks they may call a dog. They lost blood and backed out. Annie made quick work of the track.

Boy has it been a busy week. Here are a couple we have recovered lately. Tracking has been rough on the dogs and the trackers. I was so proud to see a little rain. Ole Todd here did the right thing. When he started tracking it, the deer was jumped 50 yards in, hunter backed out and we tracked it 8 hours later. Shot in the chest facing clipped one lung and liver. Little to no blood, found another bed about 150 yards in, about 700 yards in, Annie let's us know she can see it and it's alive. It jumps when the hunter is trying to get up with us to take a finishing shot. After 2 more encounterswith out a clean shot he finally gives Ole Todd a shot and he makes it count.

Can't stress enough how important it is to give them time, even when you think the shot is perfect. Deer was shot at 5:...

Can't stress enough how important it is to give them time, even when you think the shot is perfect. Deer was shot at 5:41, hunter noticed that arrow smelt like gut, but he knew exactly where he hit it and believed that the gut was on the exit. Remember..... it's not where it enters it where it exits. The hunter never went past the arrow. We began tracking at 8. Less than 100 yards in the deer was jumped and whooped Ole Moose(1.5 yr old pup) he immediately came back to us. Lol. Annie went on tracking. A mile and we jump him and he crosses a creek. We call off the track. Today I went back and let her run the last 400 yards then she crosses the creek. 40yards on the other side he laid dead. If we would have waited 4 to 6 hrs. It would have been a 100 urd track. Notice shot placement.. Quartering to. Almost perfect.
