In loving memory of sweet Sofi ❤️

Received news yesterday that dear clients and friends of mine lost their 16 year old baby, Sofi.
This girl and I have spent a lot of mornings together— she sleeps in my lap while I have my coffee & read my book. ❤️

I call her little smiling Sofi, and when you look through the photos, you will see how evident her smile shines! I am going to miss this sweet little girl so much.

Thinking of you, Jan & Terry— thanks for loving your pups so well and giving Sofi an incredible 16 years! She could not have had a better or more pampered life. ❣️

Meet Bernice 🖤🤎
For the past few days, we’ve been working to earn this beautiful girl’s trust and get her off the street— and as of last night, she’s finally safe! 🙌🏻

Bernice has been surviving on scraps, mostly Hardee’s leftovers and whatever trash she could find. 💔 Beneath all that thick, beautiful fur, you can feel her ribs and hips — a clear sign of how tough her life has been lately.

This week she’ll be heading to the vet. She’ll get a full exam, heartworm test, spay, and whatever else she needs to start her new chapter healthy and strong. These visits can be costly, especially when we don’t yet know what we’ll find — but this is what rescue is all about. ❤️

If you’d like to help with Bernice’s care, we’d be deeply grateful. Your kindness and support make it possible for us to keep helping dogs like her.

Bernice’s story is changing — from parking lots and trash bags to love, safety, and a full belly. Stay tuned. 🐾
