🐾 Meet Maggie!🐾

New to Paws & Pastures Pet Care, Maggie is a sweet senior Frenchie who absolutely loves people, but she prefers having her own space away from other dogs and that is perfectly okay. Not every dog enjoys group play, so her stay is built around what makes her feel safest and most comfortable.

She has been relaxing in her private suite, watching the dog YouTube channel and happily working on a yak chew we provided. She also enjoys brief trips outside to soak up a little sunshine without getting too warm.

Several times throughout the day, the other dogs are safely put away so Maggie can come out, stretch her legs, cuddle on the couch, and enjoy one-on-one time with us. She is such a well-behaved girl, listens beautifully, and has been an absolute sweetheart.

Personalized care means accommodating each dog for what they need and not expecting every guest to enjoy the same routine. We’re so happy to have Maggie spending her vacation with us! 💛

Two new faces, two completely different speeds, and both fitting right in! 🐾

Meet Marley and Chili, our newest boarding guests.

Marley is a sweet 13-year-old Lab who is calm, friendly, and happy to be part of whatever is going on. She also receives insulin injections twice daily, so keeping her routine consistent and making sure she gets the care she needs is an important part of her stay.

Chili is a 7-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer with all the puppy energy you would expect—and then some! She is playful, social, and always ready for the next adventure.

Despite being at very different stages of life, both girls have been wonderful with everyone and have settled in beautifully. Marley brings the gentle, easygoing energy, while Chili keeps the fun going and makes sure there is never a dull moment.

So happy to welcome these two to Paws & Pastures Pet Care! ❤️

Back with one of my favorite familiar farm crews! 🐐🐓🐈

I’ve been stopping by often lately to care for the goats, chickens, and indoor cats while their family is away. By now, everyone knows me, knows the routine, and definitely knows who brings the food!

Because I’ve cared for this crew many times, I’m familiar with each animal’s personality, habits, and little quirks. That consistency helps everything stay as normal and comfortable as possible while their family is gone.

The goats are always ready to supervise, the chickens keep things lively, and the cats make sure the indoor part of the visit includes plenty of attention too.

I’m so grateful for returning clients who continue to trust Paws & Pastures Pet Care with their entire farm family. ❤️

🐾 Guess who was back—Figge! 🐾

Figge is one of the most unique guests I get to board because she’s a Chongqing Dog, a rare breed you definitely don’t see every day!

She may have an uncommon look and breed name, but her personality makes her fit right in. Figge gets along wonderfully with everyone, is always ready to play, and brings the perfect mix of confidence, curiosity, and goofy energy to the house.

She wasted no time settling back in, reconnecting with friends, made a new one, and made sure there was never a dull moment. It’s always fun having returning guests, but Figge makes every stay especially memorable.

Welcome back, sweet girl! We’re so happy to have you here again. ❤️🐾

💗 These two brought so much fun and laughter! 💗

Meet Daisy (1 year old) and Rosie (1½ years old), two adorable bulldog mixes who recently stayed with me for a fun-filled three-day vacation for their first time.

They loved playing with everyone—running around the yard, wrestling, and trying to get every dog they met to join in. Their goofy personalities kept things lively and made them so much fun to have around!

Even with all that energy, bedtime showed their sweet sides. Rosie claimed my side for snuggles, while Daisy curled up at my feet—such a cozy way to end each day.

Both girls found their forever home through Citrus County Animal Services, a great reminder that amazing dogs are waiting in shelters every day. Thank you to their family for adopting! 🐾❤️

🐾 It has been a full house, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🐾

This past week has been a fun mix of many familiar faces plus three brand new friends at Paws & Pastures Pet Care.

I’m excited to welcome Ani, Kroska, and Shane for their very first stay! Joining them were several returning guests who made them feel right at home from day one.

From morning zoomies and backyard adventures to afternoon naps and evening cuddles, there has never been a dull moment around here. It’s been so much fun watching everyone settle in, make new friends, and enjoy their own little vacation while their families are away.

One of my favorite things about home-style boarding is seeing each dog’s personality shine. Some are the life of the party, some prefer to quietly observe, and others just want to be wherever the people are. Every dog is different, and that’s what makes every stay unique.

Thank you to all of our wonderful clients for trusting me with your four-legged family members. Seeing so many familiar faces return, while also welcoming new ones, truly means the world to this small business. ❤️🐾

🐾 New friends, new adventures! 🐾

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of welcoming Bella and Beau for a two-week vacation at Paws & Pastures Pet Care while their family set off on an unforgettable Alaskan cruise! 🛳️❄️

These two have settled in wonderfully and have quickly become part of the pack. Their days are filled with playtime, exploring the property, plenty of belly rubs, and relaxing in the comfort of home between adventures.

While Bella and Beau are enjoying their own vacation here, I’m also making daily trips to their home to care for the family’s livestock, making sure everyone, big and small, is happy, healthy, and well cared for until their family returns.

One of my favorite parts of this job is being able to care for an entire family’s animals, whether they have dogs, farm animals, or both. It gives pet owners peace of mind knowing everyone is in good hands while they’re away.

I hope Bella, Beau, and their family are all having an amazing vacation. We’ll be here keeping the home team happy until they’re back! ❤️🐾
