Today is National Great Dane Day! We would like to take this opportunity to re-introduce Raider!

Raider is a 9-month-old Great Dane puppy with a heart as big as his paws. This handsome boy is completely deaf, but don’t tell him that—it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, cuddly boy who loves being close to his people.

Raider came to us emaciated and underweight, and at 115 pounds, he is still growing and gaining the weight he needs. Despite a rough start, he has blossomed into a happy, loving puppy and has so much life and love ahead of him.

He has been well socialized with dogs, cats, and kids and is doing wonderfully in foster care. Raider is crate trained, potty trained, and while he can be a little sensitive in new situations, he is a playful, loving puppy who continues to gain confidence every day.

Because Raider is completely deaf, he requires a home with a physically fenced yard. Experience with deaf dogs and/or giant breeds is a plus, but the right family willing to learn and commit to his needs will be considered.

Raider will leave our rescue vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, f***l tested, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Because Raider is a giant breed puppy and needs much more time to grow, he will be adopted on a neuter contract with a refundable deposit, with neuter to be completed at the appropriate age.

Raven is continuing to do great in her recovery! 🩷

She’s becoming more playful, eating well, and her swelling has gone down. We are so proud of her progress!

To keep her safe while she heals, Raven has a custom recovery setup that helps her stay comfortable and contained.

Rea is an 8-month-old black Lab mix with a heart full of happiness and energy! At about 35 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy who loves to run, play, and explore with her foster dog siblings.

Rea has been well socialized with dogs, cats, and children, and she enjoys making new friends wherever she goes. While she can be a little enthusiastic around cats and may initially want to chase them, she has successfully lived with feline friends and does well with a slow, proper introduction.

She is currently working hard on crate and potty training and is doing fantastic! Raven is a smart girl who is eager to learn and thrives with love, playtime, structure, and consistency.

Rea would love an active family that can keep up with her playful personality and continue helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s becoming. Whether she’s running around the yard, playing with canine friends, or curling up after a day of fun, Raven is sure to bring joy and laughter to her forever home.

She is fully vetted, including spay, microchip, heartworm test, deworming, f***l testing, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention.

Raven’s big day was yesterday! 🩷

She underwent her double enucleation (eye removal) surgery and did fantastic throughout the procedure. She is now home resting comfortably with her foster mom, who is providing plenty of love and around-the-clock care while she recovers.

Raven is definitely not a fan of the cone, but she is on medication to help keep her comfortable and calm, along with anti-inflammatory medication to aid in her healing. She is experiencing quite a bit of swelling right now, so we are monitoring her very closely and staying in contact with her amazing veterinary team at St. Roch Veterinary Clinic.

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this surgery possible for Raven. Your support gave her the chance for a brighter, pain-free future. We are also incredibly grateful to her dedicated foster family for providing the extra care and attention she needs during her recovery.

Please continue to keep Raven in your thoughts as she heals! 🐾

We’re excited to share that Kilo has officially found his forever home! 🩷🐾

It turns out that although we searched high and low for the best possible fit for him… he was right at home all along ❤️

Kilo’s foster mom (and one of the founders of Rescue Pets Inc.) has officially joined the foster fail club! Over the past few months, Kilo formed an incredible bond with his foster siblings — and ultimately, they chose one another.

We could not be happier for this goofy, lovable boy and his forever family. Congratulations, Kilo! 🎉

Lola has been adopted 💕

When Lola first came to us, she was terrified and shaking with fear in her kennel at animal control. With patience, love, and time to decompress, she has come so far.

Now she’s headed to her forever home where she’ll be a spoiled princess and the only dog in the home — exactly how she likes it 👑🐾

🚨 Donations Needed for Raven 🖤

Raven came to us as a tiny, defenseless kitten after being found crying for help in one of the community cat colonies we help TNR. From the moment she arrived, it was obvious she was very sick — suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. We immediately started her on antibiotics and eye drops, hoping to get her feeling better quickly.

As her respiratory infection began improving, her eyes unfortunately continued getting worse.

After additional veterinary visits, Raven’s medications were changed, she was started on pain medication and new eye drops, and thanks to some amazing feline blood donors, she was also able to begin serum eye drops.

Today, Raven was seen by the amazing vet team at Adopt-A-Pet, and they determined that she needs to see a veterinary ophthalmologist for further assessment and possible treatment options.

The consultation fee alone is $240 — and that does NOT include diagnostics, medications, or any surgery she may need.

Kitten season has been incredibly difficult for rescues everywhere, but Raven deserves every chance at healing, comfort, and vision that we can give her.

We are asking for donations to help support Raven’s ongoing medical care. No amount is too small — even $1 truly helps and allows us to continue helping kittens like Raven and to get her the medical treatment that she needs🖤
