I’ll say it again; seniors are the best! Little Frannie was mere moments away from having her life snuffed out. Instead RADD rescue stepped in and helped get her to me. She walked right in like she has always been here. My whole pack accepted her immediately, she’s calm, sweet, potty trained, all around perfect. The love in a seniors eyes is incomparable ❤️

If you think it’s depressing looking into the kennel bars at the shelters; imagine how depressing it is for the dogs looking out of them. Sweet Doc is available for adoption thru the SPCA of East Texas and has waited so very long to be loved. Can you look at that face and tell him he’s not worth loving? Not worth saving? Not worth the effort?
Even if you can’t adopt, you can foster! It doesn’t take much; just a small corner of your home and heart. Trust me, you have room and you can do it!

Is that an opossum I’m grooming? 😜 Nope, it’s just precious Teddy. This super sweet senior found himself at the spca and was so blessed to find a permanent foster home so that he can live out his days with comfort and love.
Did you know if you foster a dog from the SPCA, it gets free grooms? Fostering is so essential to help rescues continue to save the lives of dogs and cats in East Texas. All you do is provide the love for the animal, everything else is taken care of. It’s a win-win situation!

Sophie is the epitome of a golden retriever. So gentle and sweet ❤️ I found this huge nightcrawler outside of the van. I wonder if it wants a bath? 🤷‍♀️ I put it safe in the leaves

Did you know groomers get very attached to your dog? We see them as an extension of our own pet family. When they move or pass away it is hard on us. Sweet Max moved to Illinois and I think of him often and pray his new groomer is kind to him.
