GRIT received a wonderful in-kind donation this weekend of coastal hay for our herd! The donors helped us load, transport, and unload about 100+ bales of 3rd cutting from 2025. They wish to remain anonymous for now - but please post your words of gratitude! πŸ’š GRIT couldn't continue on without our wonderful community's support!

We are so proud of the clients who went to the first ETHJC show held at Longhorn Arena in Greenville! Big congratulations to them!

πŸ’œ Caroline and Apollo showed in Poles and Trot XR together for the first time and came home with excellent scores, including winning their Hunter 2 round. This is HUGE for them, given Apollo's owner struggles with a significant, dynamic set of disabilities and two years ago, probably couldn't get through posting one time around.

πŸ’š Stormy had her first show ever with Elli in the irons, in the Jumper Crossrails, and the only goal was to create a positive experience for (but they placed quite well in a field of 7!) This one is extra special to me because Stormy is the first horse I've bred, raised, and trained.

Thank you to ETHJC for hosting a lovely show! We always have a great time.

Well guys - the thing I'd said would never happen...has happened. Welcome Boots, the special needs rooster from next door who was kicked out of his flock. He's kind of a nervous (but not aggressive) guy so no petting or picking him up. I will be getting feed so he can start to associate the barn with snacks (it's how I won over Harold and Kumar after all). He seems to mostly be hanging out in Hope's and Apollo's paddocks for now.

Thank you to all who served and to those who gave their lives for our country πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Take a few min to think of them today.

We are so proud to be an In Kind Sponsor for the Tyler Cattle Baron's Ball in 2026. Benefits go to the American Cancer Society. This would make a fabulous date night with great music, auction, food, and it goes to a great cause! It will be held on June 27th - check out their social media or website for more information!
