This is a difficult post, but we knew it was coming.
We loved our little Ziggy Rawhides so very much, and it took every ounce of love we had to be able to let him go today. He has been quite unwell for the past few months, and we felt recently he had been trying to tell us it was time.
He brought so many laughs and smiles into our lives for the past fifteen years, and he lived his life to the fullest. He could light up a room, and his appetite for treats, food, and frisbee were neverending. He was our buddy, our shadow, the little nudge we needed on a tough day.
There will be a huge hole in our lives for a while. I don't know if it will every fully go away. We'll love you forever Ziggy Rawhides, and our lives are so much better because you were a part of them. Be brave and cross that bridge now, and rest easy.
