Someone asked the other day; what does your group do?
I honestly didn’t know how to describe our objective but I gave it a shot. And I’ll share that with you guys.
We are just a group of people who love animals and want the absolute best for them, so we are attempting to help where others cannot. Filling in the gaps when and where we can! Humane Society has to turn an animal away because they are full? (Because sadly this happens and they can only do what they can do) we try to help owners, and people who have found strays find a place for those babies to go.
We provide information on rescues and shelters, their programs and clinics.
We work with rescues to try to aide in community education on how to care for animals, property vetting and vaccinations, pros and cons of microchipping.
We look for people who can foster for rescues to help with the burden.
We volunteer our time, support and love for the betterment of the voiceless.
We run different fundraisers in an effort to raise money to give back to the rescues and sanctuaries we’ve worked with, to help community members tend to sick or ailing animals that they have found who need immediate help but they can’t afford to help them.
It’s not much in the grand scheme of things. But every drop in the bucket helps fill the bucket. 🤷🏻♀️
