Final one! Meet Scott Clark with ClarkOps. Scott also serves as President of the SkyTrakr Drone Alliance.

Scott is based out of Rockingham County and established ClarkOps in 2022 after becoming FAA Part 107 Certified, providing a variety of basic drone-related services. His breakthrough came in 2023 when he captured aerial images at ESPN College GameDay at JMU that ESPN shared, making it go viral. He made the most of this opportunity, making the digital copies available for purchase for the JMU community. Several thousand copies were sold which allowed him to purchase a thermal drone.
His college roommate and hunting buddy passed away unexpectedly shortly after college, and Scott no longer had any passion to be in the woods. The thermal drone technology has allowed him be involved with hunting again. There were only a handful of drone pilots providing drone deer recovery in VA in 2023 and Scott was one of them. He has benefited from experience and success as his responses have grown significantly each season. He will respond within 60 miles of Bridgewater and just obtained his WV business license so will also be providing services to Grant, Hardy, Pendleton, and Pocahontas Counties in WV. He's also excited about leading the SkyTrakr Drone Alliance to be VA's best and easiest "one stop shop" for hunters and pet owners to confidently locate an experienced, certified, and professional drone pilot.
Scott is married to his high school sweetheart and after 7yrs in local law enforcement, has been with the federal government since 2008. They have 2 "kids": a son who's a high school junior and a daughter who graduated from WVU and is now in year 2 at VT Veterinary School obtaining her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Meet Justin & Brittney with SkyView Thermal Drone Services. Justin serves as Vice President of the SkyTrakr Drone Alliance.

We’re Justin and Brittney with SkyView Thermal Drone Services. This is our 3rd year providing thermal drone recovery, and what started as a small idea has grown more than we ever expected. Since starting, we’ve helped hundreds of customers recover their deer and reunite families with their missing pets.

We got into this line of work after seeing how many pets go missing in our area. Being able to help bring someone’s pet back home or help a hunter recover their deer is an incredible feeling and the reason we keep doing what we do.

As our business has grown, we’ve also expanded into other drone services including mapping, inspections, crop health analysis, aerial photography and more. It’s been great being able to use this technology to help people.

Outside of drone recoveries, we also run a full-time landscaping business, so when we do get a little free time, we enjoy spending it outdoors and taking in everything nature has to offer.

We just want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has supported us, shared our posts, recommended us, and trusted us to help when you needed it. We truly appreciate it more than you know. We never imagined this would grow as much as it has, and we’re excited to keep helping our community and be part of SkyTrakr Drone Alliance!

Meet Lance with Virginia Deer Recovery who has also owned/operated Carolina Crosshairs Thermal Services since 2023.

Hey Everyone, I'm Lance the owner of Virginia Deer Recovery. I am a FAA Part 107 licensed pilot and our company is fully insured. We will be servicing southern Virginia and North Carolina. Virginia Deer Recovery is the sister company of Carolina Crosshairs Thermal Services located in Rockingham County North Carolina. I started Carolina Crosshairs in 2023 with one goal in mind, to help provide ethical hunters a greater chance at recovering their trophy deer. Since 2023 we have helped over 200 clients recover their wounded game, find their missing pets, better manage their hunting properties, and help grow their businesses with commercial videography projects. While our business has a new name in Virginia, our clients will continue to receive a 5 star experience with exceptional customer service. I have worked with Justin and Scott the last couple of years and I am excited to be joining the Skytrakr Drone Aliance so that myself, along with the other great pilots across Virginia, can help clients get experienced pilots to assist their needs.
