I travel to the above areas on specific days each month & visit you & your animals at home! (All communication will be answered within 36 hours)
• I mostly book 4-6 weeks out for Anne Arundel & PG Counties. I can get Carroll Co towns/cities booked within 2-4 weeks due to it being where I live.
• Texting only please. No phone calls or Facebook messages (unless you do not have a cell phone - I understand! It is just way easier for me to book/save contact info & notes via text message) New clients must complete a short consultation via text by providing their name, their dog’s name & a photo of their dog via (so I can get to know you!). I would like to know when your last clipping was (judgement free zone - I am here to help!) so I can book your first appointment duration to safely help your pet!
• Most appointments last anywhere from 10-25 minutes per dog or cat depending on the temperament of the animal. Animals with extra long nails, curled-over-the-pad nails or grown-out quicks will require a longer appointment booking & more work to safely trim. Please text me if you are unsure of the condition of your dog or cat’s nails. All breeds welcome!
• If your dog is wiggly or a nervous-nipper, you are responsible for fully restraining them & PUTTING THE MUZZLE on them. I have assorted (soft rubber basket) muzzle sizes and “cones of shame” (easy to use as bite protection without the stress of a muzzle). But I have been bit too many times trying to muzzle a client & cannot do it anymore. Additionally, your animal may require OTC sedation.
• I have a proven track record of safely clipping TONS of clients without any bleeding, but please note, quick bleeding (the vein inside the nail) can easily be nicked when an animal is agitated or nervous. You are responsible for restraining your dog (sometimes it does take 2 family members; you know your dog better than I do) or a spoonful of peanut butter to distract them!
• If I don’t travel to your area, you are welcome to meet me at a park in an area that I do currently trim in. (Better for dogs than cats. You are responsible for your animal!) Weather & season dependent!
