Whenever we face a risk for severe weather our whole farm sports their trusty “Emergency Halters”!

When they are in the barn they wear them 24/7 well before the predicted start to threatening conditions so releasing them via their external Dutch doors would be a fast and organized process.

Any time our immediate or surrounding area is under a tornado watch, they are tuned out to keep them away from buildings and structures and give them the best chance at escaping - and then being caught, identified and returned home should the worst happen!

What an absolute knockout this weekend was! We feel so blessed that our facility and barn family can offer such impactful experiences and opportunities to our local equestrian community!

Thank you to everyone who helped and attended- you all made this weekend the home run it was!

Of course, the biggest shoutout goes to our manager and head coach, Maren Vogel of Iron Roots Equestrian for selecting such a fabulous first clinician to host and spearheading the immense organization putting on an event like this requires.

Beach Gold, a 4yo c**t by Omaha Beach, earned the highest Equibase Speed Figure of any horse across North America last week, posting a 116 for his track record-setting performance in the Kentucky Downs Racing Preview Mint Millions Turf Mile at Ellis Park!

He went 1 mile on the turf in a track record 1:31.76 in just 208.20 strides (fewest in the race), for trainer Patrick Biancone with Keith Asmussen aboard!

Excalibur Equestrian has openings for full care stalls in our main barn! With this heat we're sure winter is not on anyone's mind but it will be here quicker than you imagine!

We are the perfect facility to hunker down and stay on track with goals for next spring and show season.

While we would never turn down a polite and friendly gelding with an equally well mannered human counterpart, WE WANT MARES! Turnout arrangements mean preference will be given to accepting well suited boarders who have mares!

Ammenities include:

Our licensed, in house trainer is a British Horse Society Stage 3 Coach in COMPLETE horsemanship, meaning her instruction encompasses all aspects of equestrian sport.

From riding, athletic prep and recovery, routine wellness programs, nutrition and all other nitty gritty nuances of stable management; we cover it all!
