Tiny soaking up some sunshine!!!! Thank you Knuckle Bustin' Retrievers for the updates & photos 💝. You made my day!
Thank you to our good friend Craig Corcoran Knuckle Bustin' Retrievers for taking on Tiny. I believe this little girl is gonna be something special. 💝 with Chip Van Tassel.
Rough track last weekend at LPS. Brian is ready for a race with fewer collisions and hoping to get one tonight.
I’m sharing a recap of last weekend’s race. A hit that broke Brian’s Tie Rod in the Heat Race took him into the B Main where he finished 3rd. Ivan struggled to keep control of the i1 in the Heat Race but didn’t give up, finished 4th and made it into the Feature. They tightened the car up prior to the Feature and it worked - Ivan wishes the car had felt that good from the start of the season! Brian finished 8th in the Feature and Ivan got his best finish at 9th!

We always try to have some positive news to share after our races, but some weeks it’s more challenging than others. Brian’s car is still not fast enough, but he won his Heat Race, putting him 4th in the Feature Line Up. With his best starting spot yet, we were all looking forward to seeing the final outcome. Unfortunately, his tire went flat while waiting on the Feature. A quick fix by the Crew got him back on the track starting last. While working his way up, he was shoved into a tire, bending his steering linkage and taking him out of the race.

As for Ivan, it was a disappointing night overall. As he is getting more experienced as a driver, we are starting to play with changes to his car to make it faster. It’s trial and error so sometimes it may get a little better and others worse. He felt he was driving as fast as he could but had no drive coming off the corners. In the B- Main the front right caliper locked up, taking him out of the race. We will continue to play with the car’s set up and as he’s gaining lap experience he will be paying close attention to how the car is handling while examining what things he can do to improve as a driver.

Thanks goes out to our Supporting Sponsors: Reflections Automotive Detailing LLC, Tyler Cox of The Tyler Cox Team/RE/MAX, Top Secret Filming, Knuckle Bustin' Retrievers and Racers Customs & Collision Repair.
Last Friday we traveled to Bloomington Speedway so Brian could participate in the Harris Memorial Race. Problems with the carburetor in Heat Race caused the motor to run lean so when it started to not sound or feel right Brian chose to pull in rather than risk burning up the motor. This took him into the B Main where another driver unexpectedly slowed in between turn 1 & 2 leaving Brian unable to avoid a collision. He stayed on the track for a couple more laps when seeing there was no way he’d make the Feature, he called it a night.
Although it wasn’t a successful night in terms of performance - we learned of some new techniques we are hoping will make the 2H more competitive in the future!
Thanks to our Crew and our Supporting Sponsors - we couldn’t do it without you!

Sharing a Recap of last weekend’s race. Brian Hayden’s car felt the best it has all season until the tire starting going flat in the Feature. In this case, we can only assume the 2H ran over something on the track. We’ve had some unfortunate luck but we are certain it will soon change for the better!
Ivan Glotzbach keeps improving as a driver and was excited to finish his first race with no spins. He continues to focus on consistency and restarts. He was disappointed about only getting to race a few laps of the Feature as he is trying to get as much track time as possible. But after a shove into the wall that ended with two damaged front tires, he was forced to head back to the pits.
Looking forward to another race this Saturday. Showing great weather so we hope you’ll come out and watch some exciting racing at Lincoln Park Speedway!
Thanks again to our Supporting Sponsors: Knuckle Bustin' Retrievers, Reflections Automotive Detailing LLC, Racers Customs & Collision Repair, The Tyler Cox Team and Tim Roach of Top Secret Filming.
Here’s a few pictures I took last week! Enjoy!
When I first sent Avery to Craig Corcoran, we were concerned about her being around a baby, and little children. A couple pictures from the last 19 months with Leland and Avery. They are best friends and any black dog is automatically "vavery". Very appreciative of the time craig put into her!
Craig Corcoran, I wanted to take a minute to say thank you! You have now had two of my dogs and have done a fantastic job with both. You have told me the good, the great, the bad, and the ugly. Always very up front and honest. I have been beyond pleased with both pooches whenI have picked them up. I appreciate the time and effort you have put into not only my dogs, but my self as well. I'm beyond happy with the job you did force fetching Goose. Most of all, thank you for the friendship we have developed. You aren't just my dog trainer, but now a good friend. Thank you, again!
Thank you Craig Corcoran and Knuckle Bustin’ Retrievers Memphis had a good weekend.
Me letting Bodhi cool off in the pond it's been a scorcher here
Thanks to Knuckle Bustin' Retrievers and Craig Corcoran, for the picture. Tonight my son got to meet his soon to be best friend for the first time. Craig took the time to sit down with us one on one and discuss my dog, life in general, and dog training in general. It felt great to run my own dog tonight, she looked much better tonight, than before I dropped her off. Keep up the good work. Thanks again Knuckle Bustin' Retrievers!
