Just a friendly reminder that our 3rd Annual Mutt Strutt Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest Fashion Show is quickly approaching on Friday, October 27th from 12pm-2pm! This is a fun community event for all ages that is held on Nevada Day! It is also a fundraiser for our Nip and Tuck Fund. We will have a special red carpet for you and your pet to walk in costume. There will costume judges and prizes for both small and large dog category winners. This year, our judges will be local radio personalities J Fierce and Jamie from Biggest Little Radio here in Fernley. PLUS, we will have a food truck, vendor booths, photo booth, silent auction, games, prizes and MORE for you to enjoy! Registration is open now and closes on Friday, October 27th at 12:30pm. Just think about this as you’re think about breeding for more puppies. It’s just a reminder that a lot of puppies get sent to shelters rescues miss treated or they are gifts that are only wanted as puppies but they grow up then they’re not necessary anymore or they’ve accomplished what they needed from breeding so they just dump them. We are supposed to love them and take care of them as they do us again it was just a thought of mine.
