Rio is a beauty!!! And sweet as Pie! Loves to snuggle!!! Needs some finishing! But a great prospect for light handed rider! Not a beginners horse under saddle. Though he's teddy bear on the ground and my kids love him!

💛 Very light and Soft
💛 Learning to move off legs and seat nicely
💛 Good Ground manners. My Daughter practices Showmanship with him just for fun.
💛 Lots and lots of ground work
💛Has been ridden all over the property. In the woods, through water, and passing cars. This is new to him but he's handling it well. Very forward under saddle but listens to aids well.

❤️ Does require shoes and pads currently for maintenance.
❤️ Is way better for trailering but still practicing!
❤️ Can be buddy sour in the paddock when left home alone. However he's great to ride off on his own!!!! He just doesn't wanna be left when the heard goes for a ride!
Mentally a calmer more productive guy when exercised and turned out regularly.

9 year old Thoroughbred
This big handsome guy is looking for his forever home! Very sweet in your pocket kind of guy! Not a horse for beginners. While his training is going well he's still going to need someone to continue his journey as I still consider him a project for someone who has the knowledge to keep building his confidence! He's a very forward guy and gets anxious when introduced to new situations. May require medical maintenance and shoes. He's priced according because we know someone will need to do some investment in his long-term care!
Things Rio is excelling at and continuing to get better include :
-Relaxed walk, trot, extended trot, and canter
- Responsiveness to the riders seat in upwards and downwards transitions
- Gaining softness in the bridle
- Moves off inside and outside rein (counter bending)
- Side passing
- Ground work multiple stages
- Riding in trail like settings!

Up and down transitions on the ground make in the saddle breeze! Especially youngsters or a horse thats had a lot of people on their mouths! 🥰 Keeping them fluid and forward and happy about their jobs! Especially for those ones that seem to be energy magnets!
