Weather update: due to changes in the storm's speed and strength, we will no longer be opening this morning. We are, however, here taking care of the dogs, with the plan being, weather permitting, we will come in again this afternoon. We are still planning on being open regular hours on Thursday.

Hey everyone! We are currently getting ready for this bad weather. Our plan is to be open for a couple hours Wednesday morning, to allow for pick ups or drops offs, before hunkering down for the storm. We will be closed Wednesday PM. We will make an attempt Wednesday PM, if it is safe to do so, to come check on any dogs that are staying with us for the storm. We will be making sure the dogs are set up with enough food and water to make it a day or so, in case staff is unable to access the Resort. We are planning on reopening Thursday AM for regular hours, but that could possibly change due to the storm. We will keep everyone updated as things progress.

The Resort is currently looking for a dog loving, energetic person to work a part time kennel tech position. Position duties include: walking dogs in all kinds of weather, feeding, cleaning up after, general cleaning of the facility, etc. Must be able to lift at least 40lbs. Holidays and weekends are required. Currently only accepting applicants that are 18+. Applications are available at our office, or you can send your resume to [email protected]

Now hiring: full time Kennel Tech

The Resort is currently looking for a hard working individual who loves animals.

Job duties include: taking care of/cleaning up after dogs, general cleaning of the facility, computer work, and other tasks that deal with the day-to-day running of the facility. Position includes a lot of walking and work outside in all types of weather.

Position starts at $14/hr and can go up to $15/hr after 90 days, based on performance. Weekends and holidays are a must. Please apply on Indeed (listed under Amelia Island Animal Hosp.) or come to the Resort's office for an application.

Located at 1108 Olive Street, newly renovated and opened April 2019, this beautiful old home has been updated with full sprinkler system, amazing security system with cameras for every one of the twenty dog suites. We have soothing sounds through the building, comfy couches, even a fireplace. The feel of home, but the security of a having a veterinary professional always available. This has been a dream of Dr Jennifer Towles, the owner of Amelia Island Animal Hospital, which is only 500 feet away from this beautiful two and a half acres of hidden solitude. She has been renovating this home of one of her favorite clients for over three years to make sure it is perfect for your all your fur babies. We have three play areas inside the fenced in backyard to let your four legged friends get plenty of exercise. Walks around the pond are also included with every stay!!
