Weezie is going to her new home and we will miss her SO MUCH. Her family has done such an amazing job caring for her and her elderly owner as his time came. We are so proud of how comfortable she’s gotten with grooming and we know she’ll be amazing! 💕 all the snuggles sweet girl -The P**p Deck Crew

Good Morning everyone! We now have a sign up in front of the shop and a new name for the shopping center. We are still located at the same location and it’s now called Shorebreak Plaza. The old logo sign will still be out by the road for the time being. Thank you all for bearing with us while we had our new sign made.

When we are asked why our prices are so high for larger dogs, this is a prime example of our work and the dedication and pride we take in making every dog look and feel there best. On a normal day I would have shaved him. But my bather did an outstanding job with bathing him and drying him that I was able to brush these out with ease and with no pain whatsoever to Mr hank. This is the result of us using high quality products and continued training in the proper ways of bathing the dogs! This outcome can not always be achieved but we always try to do our best before shaving a dog! We will never cause any sort of pain when it comes to brushing out a dog, if it’s making them uncomfortable we will not do it. But I am super proud of how hank turned out and super proud of my bather for going above and beyond in making sure hank looked his best!

Flea season is in full force here in Florida!! But then again, when is it not??!! Make sure you are retreating your fur babies every 30 days to prevent those tiny annoying buggers from chewing on your beloved pet! Fleas can be caught from just walking around your neighborhood or even playing in your back yard. You don’t have to be around other dogs who may have them for your baby to get them! They can even hitch a ride on your clothes or shoes while you are out and about, that is why it’s so important to keep up with all flea, tick and of course heartworm medication! If you see any fleas on your pet and they have an upcoming grooming appointment we do ask that you either treat your pet before they come in or give a capstar pill that kills the fleas for 24hrs. It’s a quick fix! We pride ourselves in having a clean and sanitized salon so we don’t want any bugs to hitch a ride to the shop!! We will see everyone on Friday as we are closed tomorrow!!

There have been several reports of kennel cough in our community. This is spread quickly in doggie daycares, dog parks or anywhere your dog gets direct contact with other dogs. Please pay close attention to your pets. If they are coughing, wheezing or otherwise unwell please call us to reschedule their grooming appt until after they’ve been cleared by the vet. We are staying diligent on sanitation between pets and making sure they don’t have direct contact in our shop. Making sure your pets stay up to date on their bordatella vaccines is best for prevention as well. We will stay strict on enforcing all pets be up to date on their vaccines for everyone’s safety, and if your pets are not they will be required to reschedule. Rocky says you for helping us keep him and other dogs safe and healthy!

What a amazing time we had today!! Shadow loved all the attention he was getting and brought a lot of traffic to our table! If you haven’t noticed our landlord is in the process of painting the building and getting us new signage. So as of right now we have no sign up!! I know this will be difficult for our new clients to find us so please do not hesitate to give us a call if you are having a problem locating our building. We will make sure our street sign is out every day to make it a little easier as I am not sure when the new signage will be put up! Sorry for any inconvenience this may have to anyone! I am also in the works of getting a new logo made up that includes a cat since we now accept kitties clients! Thank you as always for all the love and support.

I wanted to take a minute and just highlight how far Cash has come! From a scared puppy who did not like grooming or the blow dryer and just over all being stressed out, to him letting us get him completely dried and brushed out and trusting us on the table. He’s just one of many success stories of how with just a little time and patience we can get them to trust us and to know that grooming is not a horrible thing! We are super proud of this handsome boy and can’t wait to see how much he continues to improve and grow! We love you Cash!!

One of our greatest goals is to make every dog feel comfortable when they come to get groomed! And that’s especially true for our senior clients. This is 17 year old Victoria and she had a hard time standing on the table so I let her lie down and worked around her and what made her comfortable! Sometimes it’s not about that perfect haircut it’s about making your babies feel as comfortable and relaxed as we can! She was definitely the sweetest old lady!
