Well, the time has come… and Daffy is the last available puppy from the litter! 🥹

At just 9 weeks old, Daffy is weaned, thriving, and ready to find her forever family! We believe she may be a Collie mix, and she is as sweet as they come. This adorable girl loves attention, enjoys being around people, and is eager to learn and please. ❤️

Daffy has overcome so much since arriving as a tiny bottle baby, and now she’s ready for the next chapter of her journey—a loving home of her very own!

🐾 A Look Back at May’s Milestones🐾

What a fantastic month it has been for our shelter pets!

During the month of May, we had:🐶🐱 105 animal intakes🏡 7 finalized adoptions (not including our wonderful foster-to-adopt candidates!)❤️ 71 animals transferred to our amazing rescue partners

These numbers represent lives saved, second chances given, and a community coming together to help animals in need. We are incredibly grateful to our rescue partners, adopters, fosters, volunteers, and supporters who make this work possible every day.

As we continue caring for the animals who come through our doors, we rely on the generosity of our community. If you'd like to contribute to our precious shelter pets, donations of food, treats, cleaning supplies, toys, and monetary contributions are always appreciated and help us provide the best care possible.

🐾❤️ Meet Thor! ❤️🐾

At 6–7 years old, Thor is the definition of a handsome gentleman! This sweet Pit mix is currently our second longest-term resident and has been patiently waiting for his forever home since November. We’re hoping his perfect family is just around the corner.

Thor can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you. Once he gets to know you, he transforms into the biggest cuddle bug around! This boy doesn’t have a mean bone in him! He loves affection and is happiest when he’s spending quality time with his favorite people.

When it comes to other dogs, Thor is quite the ladies’ man! He does wonderfully with female dogs but can be selective with dominant male dogs. As always, proper introductions are important.

Thor is a dream on a leash and appears to be house-trained, keeping his kennel spotless day after day. He’s ready to leave shelter life behind and settle into a loving home where he can finally relax and be someone’s best friend.

Meet Leo!

Leo is an 8–10-year-old Maine C**n mix and a very large, handsome boy—just what you’d expect from his breed. He came to us as an owner surrender due to lifestyle changes in his previous home, through no fault of his own.

When Leo first arrived, he was understandably stressed and very opinionated about his situation. The first few days, he let us know he was not happy about all the changes! However, once he realized we were here to help, he quickly began to relax and show his sweet side. Now, Leo is soaking up all the love and attention he can get and has really warmed up to our staff.

Leo is already neutered and ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a big, lovable companion with lots of personality, Leo may be the perfect match for you!
