Being the owner and operator of this new startup, it’s my responsibility to bring awareness to this type of service which is really turning into an industry in itself. One day it’ll become as normal as hiring lawn care service, or pressure washing service, gutter cleaning…etc. I’ve done a lot of research before I decided to take this adventure not realizing pet waste removal has actually been around since the 80s. While this specific type of business has been around for 40+ years, it’s still new to many and unheard of. People will laugh at me. People will ridicule me. But I use that as motivation to keep pressing forward. I started this service to help people and it’s no different than hiring someone for dog sitting, dog walking or grooming. I want to help those that are elderly who can’t physically pick up pet waste and remove it. Those that are sick and can’t leave the house. Those that are too busy and don’t have time. Those that are going to have a BBQ and don’t want family and friends looking or stepping in it. And those that really just don’t want to go out and do it themselves. Leaving pet waste on the ground is an environmental and community health concern. That’s just facts. Bacteria, worms and other parasites thrive on waste and eventually washing away into the water supply. People also don’t know that dog waste can be a common food source for rats which you're attracting into your yard. The list goes on. It’s my “dooty” to share this information and I hope people will see this as a service that is valuable, environmental, and convenient. Thank you for your time!
