Happy Memorial Day Weekend to all of our clients and patients!

The office will be closed on Monday as we honor those who gave their all for our country. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday May 26th.

In the event of an emergency this weekend, we recommend contacting MedVet at 513-561-0069 or VEG at 513-653-3930.

Have a great holiday weekend, and remember - while gatherings and fireworks are fun for us, they are not so good for your four legged friends. Keep table scraps to a minimum, and avoid high fat and sugary foods for Fido!

What a week, and it’s only Wednesday!

Being a solo doc practice is sometimes a little overwhelming. We try hard to handle it all, but sometimes we have to juggle! Clients may see us running a little late into appointments, but I promise it’s not for lack of trying!

Monday, Dr Brittany had a tight schedule. It was the last track meet of the season, and she was desperate to stick with the schedule and get out in time to see her kiddo run! She was fully booked, but as the universe does, it decided to dump not one but TWO emergency c sections on top of an already full schedule! Somehow, with the support of her incredible staff, she got through a full surgical schedule, two bonus surgeries, and was only running 10 minutes late into appointments! (And for the record, she made it to the track meet with minutes to spare!)

Tuesday left Dr Brittany and Nicole with a full day of farm calls, 7:30a-7pm, and on call overnight for a client with a baby on the way!

Today, the amazing Dr Tobie Wolfe filled in for us in the clinic so that Dr Brittany could catch up on some farm calls (and even a little real life stuff, like a doctors appt and actually grocery shopping to feed her family before 10pm! πŸ˜‚)

Ultimately, when it hits the fan and the chaos takes over, we truly appreciate YOU, our incredible clients, who give us the grace and patience to get it all done. πŸ’•

SO. For your viewing pleasure - Here are the sweet babies that we saved on Monday over our lunch hour 😍😍😍

πŸ™€πŸΆβœ‚οΈπŸ€ 2000 spay and neuters! βœ‚οΈπŸΆπŸ™€

Anyone who has been around the clinic knows that Dr. Brittany and staff feel very passionately about spay neuter and population control. Three years ago when we moved into our new location, our clinic teamed up with the amazing folks at Brown County Humane Society to offer low cost spay and neuter services one day each week - for shelter animals and for community SNAP program pets. Brown County Humane Society offers this free and discounted spay neuter program for those in need of financial assistance in Brown County (including trapping feral cats), and we have been proud to support that program.

Today, after only 3 years of ONE day a week shelter surgeries, we have made an impact with 2000 animals spayed or neutered in Brown County!! These pets get the same level of care as our client surgeries - full anesthetic monitoring, IV catheters, pain medication post op - we truly believe they deserve the same standard of care! We are proud to continue to support the BCHs SNAP program!

This handsome beagle boy is Hopper, lucky surgery number 2000! He is sweet as they come, and available for adoption through the shelter. (And lots of photos of our favorite former shelter patients, because they are so cute! 😍)

Love the SNAP program? Help us celebrate and support this continued program with a donation to Brown County Humane Society!

Need assistance with vet care, and a resident of Brown County? Reach out to the shelter and they can discuss the voucher program details!

Anyone looking for barn cats?

A staff member has found herself with a colony of abandoned cats that were left behind when a neighbor moved out and can’t stay in their current situation. They range from handleable and friendly (but not lovable yet) to barn cat feral. All will come spay/neutered and with a rabies vaccine. Looking for a barn kitty? Give the office a call! 513-309-5211
