The Fayetteville Greek Festival is excited to partner with the Cumberland County Animal Shelter during this year’s festival! 💙🤍

As we celebrate Greek culture, food, music, and community, we’re also giving back to our four-legged friends who are looking for their forever homes. Stop by to learn more about the shelter, meet some adorable adoptable pets, and find out how you can help make a difference.

**PEDIGREE CAN DOG FOOD RECALL**

Mars Petcare US recalled two lots of 13.2 oz Pedigree Can High Protein Chopped Chicken & Duck Flavor wet dog food. The affected cans, which may contain sharp metal and plastic pieces, were intended for destruction but were fraudulently diverted and sold. No pet injuries have been reported.

The specific recalled products can be identified by the following details:
*Product Name: PEDIGREE® Can High Protein Chopped Chicken & Duck Flavor (13.2 oz cans)
*Affected Lot Codes: 613C3KKCFC and 613C1KKCFC (printed on the bottom of the can)
*UPC: 10113824 (Located on the can)

If you have purchased this product, do not feed it to your dog. Discard the food and contact Pedigree Consumer Care at 1-800-525-5273 or visit the Pedigree Product Update page to request a replacement product.

Happy Independence Day from Carolina Pet Care! 🐾❤️🤍💙

Today is filled with backyard barbecues, family gatherings, and fireworks—but while we celebrate, our pets often experience the holiday very differently.

🎆 Did you know? More pets go missing on July 4th than on any other day of the year. Loud noises, unfamiliar guests, and open doors can all create the perfect storm for frightened pets.

Here are a few ways to help keep your furry family members safe:

🐾 Keep pets indoors before fireworks begin.
🐾 Create a quiet, comfortable "safe space" with familiar bedding, toys, and calming music or white noise.
🐾 Double-check that collars fit properly and ID tags are up to date. Microchips are even better!
🐾 Keep doors and gates securely closed, and remind guests to be mindful when coming and going.
🐾 Skip the table scraps—many holiday foods can upset sensitive stomachs or even be toxic.
🐾 Never bring pets to public fireworks displays. Their hearing is much more sensitive than ours.
🐾 If your pet experiences severe anxiety, talk with your veterinarian ahead of time about calming strategies or medications.

Whether your pet celebrates in a festive bow tie, an Uncle Sam hat, or simply from the comfort of their favorite hiding spot, the best celebration is one where everyone gets home safely.
