Courtesy post. My daughter's friend has these kittens on her property and they are looking for homes. Momma has been gone for weeks they are about 8 weeks old. There's 4. Gray is a female. 1 orange girl 1 orange boy. There is a gray male who im waiting to get a photo of. Please let me know if your interested. Dog cat and kid friendly.

Updates on the current dogs in the rescue. Several dogs including Rusty, Sweetpea, Frankie and others were adopted by their fosters. Hazel is the in process of being rescue transferred. Marble, Gemma, Brutus, Scout, Naylee and Granite were all transferred to Wild at Heart Rescues. We still have a few dogs that need to be transferred to other rescues. We have a few bills that are in need of being paid, and 3 spays and a neuter left to cover. If you can help please do every dollar counts. Thank you.

It breaks my heart to post this, But we are closed for intake. Moving forward, I will be focusing on the dogs in the rescue and finding them homes or finding other rescues to take them. Due to personal reasons, I will be taking a sabbatical from the rescue. I appreciate everyone who has been on this journey with me and who has supported me through all this. It means the world to me and the animals. As of today we have helped 182 animals and I couldn't have done that alone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had the honor of driving Beau to his new home yesterday. It was an interesting ride as Beau doesn't sit still but now thats okay as he has an acre of land to run. So not only did Beau find his home but hes also heartworm negative. Congratulations sweet boy. I hope you have a wonderful life.

🐾 Meet Lady!
Lady is currently in boarding in Fayetteville as a last effort to save her life. Foster or adopter is welcome. Someone please step up for this girl.

Lady is a 5-year-old pit mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines. This sweet girl is a total love bug who thrives on affection and will happily soak up all the cuddles you can give.

She’s very food motivated, which makes her both fun and eager when it comes to learning and bonding. Lady already knows her basic commands and is always ready to show off her good manners—especially if treats are involved!

Lady absolutely loves car rides and would make the perfect adventure buddy, whether it’s a quick trip or a day out exploring. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and does well with canine friends. As for cats, she hasn’t quite figured out how she feels about them yet.

With her loving nature and joyful spirit, Lady is sure to bring warmth and happiness to any home lucky enough to have her.

Fun fact: Lady never says no to snacks or a ride in the car!

At the moment Safe Haven, Almost Home Animal Rescue is full. So they cant take this baby in unless funds are drastically raised. So what we're looking for is 3 options. One temp foster for 3 mo while foster is away in her home country. 2nd Adopt this sweet gentleman. 3rd if any rescues are willing to take him in he drastically needs help with funds since he's on a special food, and if something unexpectedly happens. Scooby is 12 yr old JRT mix. He was saved from a high-kill shelter in NC. A dedicated women stepped up to foster Scooby. He is dog, kid, and cat friendly an a absolute chill love bug. In August 2023, Gemma was rescued from a high-kill shelter in North Carolina. At the time of her rescue, Gemma tested positive for heartworms. She was later transferred to Safe Haven, Almost Home Animal Rescue in January 2025. Where they began treating her heartworm condition, and worked towards improving her overall health. As Gemma is selective with other dogs, finding an appropriate home has been difficult, but she has finally found her perfect match. Please help us get her to her new forever home. No amount is to small, and shares are just as appreciated. 🙏. She has an amazing daddy waiting to shower her with so much love.
