The Sewing Cats Open by appointment. Clothing alterations, tailoring, repairs, and mending, along with celebration or memory pillows, bears and other animals.

I am a seamstress and designer who has been sewing for over 60 years. While living in Africa for over 8 years, I continued my sewing education from the tailors there who can make anything from just a picture in a catalog or a description and drawing. I love to upcycle garments and create new items from old ones, and can tailor and alter ready-to-wear as well. I make cushions, pillows, and other ho

me decor items. I offer memory bears (or cats, rabbits, etc.) and memory quilts or wall hangings made from special items to honor someone in your life.

Hello everyone! It was lovely to have a little time off with family and I hope you are enjoying this summer as well. Work has been coming in fast and furious and therefore, my turnaround time has stretched out to almost mid September right now. So anything brought in now won't be ready for about 6 weeks. I have already started getting some homecoming things in, so that isn't too far off! If you have time sensitive items, please contact me soon so I'm able to get things done on time.

I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of summer. Proms and weddings, along with the usual stuff, has kept me busy for the past few months and I plan to take some time off and will be closed June 16th-July 11th.
